I read somewhere that the chainmail could work as a temperature regulator somehow, avoiding the body to be "overheated". Reading your post, I guess that it wasn't enough to compensate the extra heat produced by the gambeson. Am I having the rfight understanding,

My guess is that the gambeson or mantle would be unbearable in the heat and may have been mainly worn in cool weather and I would guess the lamellar cuirass (the oven) could get uncomfortable, given its name, but it was recommended for those in the front ranks. Mail has the advantage of allowing ventilation and is the least restrictive of all armour and my reading of the Byzantine manuals is that some mail was worn by practically everyone, even archers. Then there is also the horse armour of the cataphracts. And then there is the job of the horse that would have to carry all that and more on its back all day.

I Think this paint is bad Idea, large and Long red shield is uncomfortable and ugly.

Please replace it.

The point here is not to be aesthetic in a "fancy" way but rather accurate.
The red shirt was used in Georgia during that period as shown here (soldiers of the left):



Regading the shields, there are several books about the Georgian history showing red shields. Also, considering the paint below, I think that this is a reasonable "guess":
