I tried it in the past, but just to see these legio units. It was nice but I got bored and right now why would I play that in a boring roman civil war when I can get my Imperials and fight other nations? For me is funnier than roman vs roman all the time. But who knows...maybe I change my mind? who knows..

I finished an IA campaign some months ago playing as Antony and I rarely had to fight a battle against a Roman faction. Antony starts pretty far out to the east and you have your hands full of Parthians for most of the campaign's beginning. Meanwhile the other Roman factions are busy killing each other off. Lepidus and Pompey don't last very long at all. Anyway, I enjoyed it except for Antony's Romans having white surcoats and vexillia; red is more appealing.

Colors for legionaries depended mostly on what dye was the most inexpensive at that moment usually, red is just a color that stuck in people's mind.

http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...patch-(W-I-P-) has a minor update, only some of the population values were changed as far as I could see (compared to .e)
