Historia est magistra vitae. - Cicero
The melee attack of the legionarii in DeI is 37 in this mod the named legionarii melee attack is 36. The melee attack of the 1 cohort in DeI is 40 in this mod the named 1 cohort melee attack is 38. I believe it should be the same. Don't make much sense to me that the named legionarii have a worse melee attack. Anyway I mad a small submod that change the melee attack to match the one in DeI if anyone is interested
Interesting, hadn't noticed that the stats were changed.
Is this updated to 1.2.2? In my current campaign i dont seem to be able to recruit legions in latium region.

Have you build an auxiliary barracks Nilte? I'm not sure the camp martius building in Rome allows the building of custom units.
no problem, let me know if the aux barracks fixes it.
gl. I'll try to get the units recruitable from the special City bonus from Rome (Camp Martius), but that'll be a while.
Reforms are not firing for the Sweboz, check the reforms script and it is set for 4,90, but after hitting imperium 4 at turn 145, it did not activate.
The reform script that governs the turn numbers needed etc isn't overwritten by this mod, so your problem lies with another mod or the standard dei files.

I want to try this mod because I've used UMC's unit cards since he did them and they're terrific so I figured his legions would be likewise. I've been using XIII Caesar's legion mod for years and it's run exceptionally well and installation has been a snap; just d/l and stick it in the data folder in the right order and off you go. I just finished my campaign in Dei 1.1 and was looking to upgrade to the latest Dei as well.
However, I've got a noob question about how to install this mod. I think I understand about not using the Steam mod manager and putting the mods in a script file, I guess. But how do you get this mod to d/l. I've never used a mod by subscribing on Steam; all of my mods so far have been downloads.
So if I subscribe to this mod on its Steam page, does it download to my computer the first time I run the game thereafter? If so where does it go?
Also the last page of comments on the Steam page says this doesn't work with Dei 1.2?

"With a population of around a million, Rome (in Claudius' time) was a vast city even by modern standards. It is worth pointing out that during the early Renaissance the population of Rome was no more than fifteen thousand-- living amid the ruins of a civilization that dwarfed their own. It was not until the nineteenth century that the population of Rome returned to the levels it had enjoyed under the Caesars. That is eloquent proof of the fact that human history is not a tale of steady progress towards greater knowledge and achievement." Simon Scarrow
Just dl it from Steam.
After that dl this patch made by Dardo21:

Note that I haven't updated my patch to the new beta though, you can find a temporary fix for the unit stats in http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...DATE***/page44 by CIaagent11
Thanks to you both for the help. I'm using the Steam versions of this mod and Dei.
I put this into the user script:
mod "@@@@@UMslegionspatch.pack";
mod "Caesarslegionspatch.pack";
mod "@e_umcenturionlegions.pack";
mod "___divide_et_impera_010_part1.pack";
mod "___divide_et_impera_release_part2.pack";
mod "___divide_et_impera_release_part3.pack";
mod "___divide_et_impera_release_part4.pack";
mod "___divide_et_impera_release_part5.pack";
mod "___divide_et_impera_release_part6.pack";
mod "___divide_et_impera_release_part7.pack";
mod "___divide_et_impera_release_part8.pack";
The game would not open. First I tried without bringing up mods; just hit play. Then I hit the mod manager button and the correct Dei and this mod's images came up and loaded, but when I hit play, nada.
I then emptied out the user script file and hit mods. The correct images loaded for Dei and this mod and the game started fine, but then crashed in the first GT. Then I unchecked this mod and started again and it played well.
So what am I doing wrong?

Check whether all your files still are there. The mod manager has a nasty habit of deleting them.
And I dont think Caesarslegionspatch.pack is supposed to be in there. Not sure what it is, but I'm just running the other two.
Claagent11, thanks for the come back.
I verified game integrity on Steam after deleting this mod and Dei from the R2 data file. I then entered this in the user script reflecting the deletion of the Caesarslegionspatch.pack.
mod "@@@@@UMslegionspatch.pack";
mod "@e_umcenturionlegions.pack";
mod "___divide_et_impera_010_part1.pack";
mod "___divide_et_impera_release_part2.pack";
mod "___divide_et_impera_release_part3.pack";
mod "___divide_et_impera_release_part4.pack";
mod "___divide_et_impera_release_part5.pack";
mod "___divide_et_impera_release_part6.pack";
mod "___divide_et_impera_release_part7.pack";
mod "___divide_et_impera_release_part8.pack";
Thereafter, the game would not come up after just pushing play in the splash screen without touching the mod manager.
I played just Dei last night for about two hours without a problem with this mod unchecked in the mod manager. So everything except this seems to be OK.
