Mod: The Elder Scrolls: Total War - Unofficial Patch (2nd version)

    Scenario - Stormcloak Rebellion
    Description:
4E - 201 A year that will go down in history and legend both, the year of the last Dragonborn.
5 years after the Great War had ended, the Redguards of Hammerfell were still fighting against the Aldmeri occupation.
They had been abandoned by the Empire and left alone, but this struggle had brought the bickering clans of Hammerfell together, the Crowns and Forebears put aside their age old rivalries and stood united against the Elves, alone, they managed to fight the Elves to a standstill, and in the year 180 the Second Treaty of Stros M'Kai was signed, all remaining Dominion forces withdrew from Hammerfell.
High Rock had been spared many of the horrors of the Great War due to it's position far from the fronts, but its time of peace did not last. In the year 188 Corsair pirates sacked the Great trade city of Wayrest and took it over, a golden age in the Kingdom of Wayrests history quickly came to a violent end. Meanwhile in Cyrodiil unrest was rife, criminals roamed freely as the weakened Empire clung to what strength they had left. In Bravil two major players in the Skooma trade decided to use the city as their battleground. Riots and looting took over the city, even the Lucky Lady statue was destroyed, and it took weeks for guards to restore order. Meanwhile in Morrowind House Redoran and other remaining houses have managed to push argonians back behind their borders, reclaiming almost what they had lost.
In Skyrim the young High King Torygg ruled, his father Istlod, who had led Skyrim in the Great War had died a few years earlier and Torygg had been near unanimously voted High King, one who spoke against Torygg was Ulfric Stormcloak, Jarl of Windhelm.
After the Markarth incident Ulfric began to lose faith in the Empire, he believed it was no longer the proud strong Empire it had once been, the Empire forged by Talos, had abandoned him... No longer would Ulfric bend his knee to Torygg, no longer would he sit by while the Elves steal away people in the night. Ulfric rode to the Great Capital of Skyrim, Solitude. There before the Kings court he issued a challenge to Torygg, an old Nord custom, a duel of Honor and Strength. Torygg knew Ulfric was a greater warrior, and that Ulfric could use the Thu'um, he respected Ulfric, and he was no coward, he accepted his death like a true Nord. And so Ulfric used his Thu'um and shouted the brave young King apart, he then fled the city on horseback with guards in pursuit. The Imperials decried him as a traitor and coward guilty of regicide, and ordered his arrest, Ulfric raised his banner in Rebellion and several of the holds of Skyrim followed him.
Skyrim is split in two, the Civil War has begun. Yet... their may be greater threats on the horizon... For the Scrolls have foretold of Black Wings in the Cold that when Brothers Wage War Come Unfurled!!

    Mede Empire
"...The Empire faced the greatest threat since The Great War. It wasnt just a war for independence of Skyrim, as most of people think nowadays. It was revolt against Emperor Titus II Mede not just in Skyrim. They believed he made a mistake when he signed Concordat, thus they considered him unsuitable for the Ruby Throne. In this situation he had no other choice than to defend Concordat and fight the rebels led by Ulfric Stormcloak, who wanted to become High King. The Empire naturally supported Elisif The Fair, widow of last Skyrim High King, who was murdered by Ulfric. This rebellion happened in very unfortunate moment, from what we know The Empire finally recovered form consequences of The Great War, and was going to expand again. Sadly, this had to be postponed, and most of resources had to be used in Skyrim.

Emperor needed to end this uprising quickly, before it spreads to High Rock and Cyrodiil possibly with support from Hammerfall, and mainly before The Thalmors use this uprising for their own interests. General Tullius was tasked with defeating the rebels, and in the beginning it went well. He captured Ulfric Stormcloak, and was going to execute him in Helgen, what would have probably ended the rebelion.
But just before Ulfric was executed, a beast not seen four thousands of years showed up, and attacked Helgen. Ulfric managed to escape, and Skyrim was facing another, even worse threat. Dragons were returning, and together with them came Dragonborn, who sided with Ulfric..."

    The Stormcloaks
Less of a rebellion and more of a restoration, Ulfric Stormcloack means to bring back the old way and restore Tamriel to its former glory, the movement starts in Skyrim but it will not end there, Ulfric aims to overthrow the false Emperor Titus and bring real change to the continent. We will fight alone if need be but we hope that we will not have to, the Stormcloacks are not just a family, not just an army, and not just a faction, Stormcloack means something in Skyrim, it means you believe in your people, your comrades, it means you want to make the world a better place for the generations to come, and it of cause means freedom from oppression of the Empire.

Ulfric may be our leader but he is not the only man that our soldiers stand behind, soldiers stand behind and side by side with eachother as brothers in arms to fight for a real cause, for a real nations, for Skyrim and for Tamriel. Our prayers to Talos have been answered and we have been given our figurehead, the Dragonborn has come to rectify the wrongs of the poisoned Empire. The embodiment of Talos himself back in Skyrim among his own people and he has come to claim what was once his, Talos built a great Empire and now his name has been cast down and dragged through the mud by this Emperor Titus and his Elvish sympathisers. Ragnar is the Dragonborn and the heir to Talos' great Empire. And so Ulfric Stormcloack, True High King of Skyrim has seen fit to name Ragnar, the Dragonborn as Emperor of Tamriel and now fights to see him reinstated as head of a new great Empire that will allow all of the continent to benefit from the greatness that a good Empire, the likes of which we have not seen in some time, can bring to Tamriel. And so the Stormcloack movement now calls for all the factions however strong or weak, at war or peace, whatever race to stand with us against the treachery and lies that we have been fed by Emperor Titus and the Aldmeri Dominion.

    Aldmeri Dominion
Hear the proclamation of the Great Aldmeri Dominion!

We bid welcome to all people of Tamriel!
The Dominion celebrates a new beginning of the fourth era for the race of Mer, a stage where our place, as Mer in Tamriel are secured, a stage where our righful position was created, a stage where our views are shared and a stage, where the Mer supremacy rules over now the race of the Men.
The Summerset Isles are made into a great paradise, after the shadow of the Empire were lifted. Home of our brothers, the wood elves, Valenwood was freed from the shackles of the Empire and improved in our ways to stand with us, as powerful as we are. The distant lands of Khajits were in chaos, when their sacred moons dissappeared, however we used our great knowledge of magic to help them and in trade they gave us their friendship we are honouring to this day. The people of the Elsweyr Confederacy are welcomed within our lands and their interest is our interest.

    Empire of Tamriel!
The Great War ended and the Dominion won over the race of men ensuring our rightful position and prestige. Since then we are glad to hear that the Emperor and his Empire shares our vision of this world and ensures that our philosophy and fait are couraged in the lands of the men aswell. The White-Gold Concordat also ensures, that the Empire will follow our appropriate beliefs. Anyone who continues to worship Talos is considered a heretic and the Empire will deal with them, as it is agreed. No mere men can enter Godhood and as such tale of Talos and his history now considered as simple lies and heresy. In addition we hope the great work of our Justiciars will be uninterrupted by any forces of the Empire and we have free hand in our own dealings with false worshippers of Talos and the Blades. We will not deal with the affairs of the Skyrim rebellion primarily, however if any of our agents are harmed in anyway, while they hunt for heretics of the false Talos, there will be consequences. We hope that our relationship with the Empire will continue, as it is now and the points of the Concordat are ensured. We would be insulted if it proves to be otherwise.

Moreover we demand from the Emperor himself that he proclaim the Redguards, as traitors to the Empire, since they refused the points of the White-Gold Concordat. They have to be rejected from the Empire and we would be proud if the Emperor joins in our actions againts them. Their stubborness needs to be punished and the Aldmeri Dominion will not tolerate their false worship of Talos. We may have been agreed upon a peace agreement after the Great War, however if the Redguards will not give up their ways, they will have to face the consequences of their decision aswell.

    Clans of Crowns and Forebears
We Redguards are a proud people who do not take kindly to being dictated on how to live our lives and attempts at making us bow to foreign rule without the consent of our people, is something that no Redguard will ever let happen as long as he or she breathes. The greedy and malevolent Altmer want our lands and have caused the Empire to abandon us in these desperate times after the Great War. We feel betrayed by the Emperor! Why does he not send us aid or try to offer a counter treaty that puts our interests in consideration? Do the Imperials have no respect for us and our warrior traditions? We have served in your armies with distinction and honor and we deserve better treatment than this! By agreeing to this treaty with the Altmer, the Emperor has only weakened himself in ceding our noble land of Hammerfell. But we will never submit quietly and without a proper fight, for what is a Redguard if not a stubborn noble warrior who loves a good fight? We will not surrender our lands and traditions to these Altmer and will fight to the death for Hammerfell and her people!

Let it also be known that all enemies of the Altmer are our friends!

    Tribes of Black Marsh
The conflicts of men and elves are heating up in the west, but just as the Great War, the Argonians do not feel the need to choose a side, the hist does not feel it necessary. So we watch cautiously, but with a curious eye, to see who will come out of this new altercation.

We feel it necessary to exact revenge on the filthy Dunmer of the north. Yes, an invasions was relatively successful, but it was not enough, the Redoran pushed them back with their unholy trickery and deceit. This will not happen again, our people have learned better than to think that other races would fight as honorably as we do. Only when we gather all Dunmer leaders and hear them begging for their survival will our slave ancestors be able to rest.

Now is the time to strike, more than ever! When the so-called oblivion crisis hit, we were able to show the daedra who was boss, making the dremora close their gates on us in fear of being overrun! But some of the more inferior races, such as the Dunmer, were hit very hard by the daedra were still left rebuilding when we attacked. Now a lot of their people have fled to Cyrodil, Skyrim or that pitiful rock of an island Solstheim.

Knowing all this, we know this is going to be a war of attrition, the hist has told us, but this is where the strength of our people will shine, as nothing can tire a trained argonian soldier! The Dunmer must they will drive us back again, but they will be gravely mistaken...

    Elsweyr Confederacy
There was only chaos and despair, nobody knew what to do.
The people felt left alone and all they could do was hope.
and when all hope seemed lost, the Dominion came and with their wisdom we now live without fear.
Therefor the people of elsweyr are proud to say that we are allies of the mighty Aldmeri dominion and that we will follow them in battle.
Therefor all enemies of the Aldmeri Dominion will automaticly be our enemies without discussion.

Now, as it seems like there is peace, Elsweyr welcomes all trade to their land for as long as the white-gold concordat remains.
However, this does not mean we accept any troops near our borders. We will trade and happily share a drink. But we do not accept armed forces anywhere near us.
Our borders will be protected and any who wants to pass, better has a good reason.

We do not seek war, but we will not lose any war we get involed in either, the people of Elsweyr will show no mercy to those who dare betray us or the Aldmeri Dominion.
We may not look big, but when you feel the force of our weapon clashing with yours, you know you made a mistake, and that is a mistake that will not be forgiven.

    Kingdoms of Daggerfall and Wayrest
The day was bright with the sun shinning off the the armour of the men of Daggerfall. In the Distance lay the city of Camlorn. The Lord there had been assassinated and an upstart had declared independence from everyone.
King Gerard marched his army from Daggerfall to put down this rebellion. A few miles from the city he set up his army in the fields just outside the city near a few farms.
In his tent he had two letter which he had kept now for a few months now. One with the seal of a bear with blue wax. The other in red wax from the Emperor with the dragon as a seal.
He had studied them both but now he was puzzled on what to do.
The Dragonborn had come. Gerard would not have taken any notice of other conflicts but now with the Dragonborn it changed everything. He had hated the way there was peace with the White gold concord. His armies had not made it before the battles took place while he had not lost alot he did feel betrayed. Now though with Skyrim in rebellion the situation was in chaos. While Gerard does recognise Ulfric Stormcloak as the High King of Skyrim due to there customs.
However this rebellion would destabilise the whole empire. This rebellion will do nothing except more loss of life.
First though he would make High Rock great again. (#makeHighrockGreatAgain)
Wayrest had Suffered greatly but how long would it be like this Gerard thought.
We are loyal to the Empire in it time of need we will be there we will not be late again.

    Proclamation of The Emperor:
The Redguards arent part of The Empire since The Great War, so regretfully we cant mark them as traitors of The Empire. Yet The Empire would love to join you in your just war, all our resources are currently used in Skyrim, against the the traitors inside my own realm. Once Ulfric is defeated, we may reconsider this.

However, we advice caution. Twice since The Great War you tried to take Hammerfall, and twice you failed.

    Signed, Emperor Titus II Mede

And a message to Ulfric Stormcloak:

Significant part of your army is now surrounded in Fort Dunstad. They all will all die unless you save them.

We have a proposal. Order your orc allies, who dishonorably betrayed The Empire, to retreat back into New Orsinium, where they will stay for one turn. You will let jarl Igmund and the men following him alive and unharmed, and the orcish vanguard north of him that build a fortification will be disbanded.

Do this, and the siege of Fort Dunstad will be abandoned.

I wonder, how will men following you react, when they find out you would exchange their lives for gold of Markarth?

Signed Tullius, General of Imperial Legion of Skyrim

    Stormcloak Rebellion - T2
    To General Tullius,

I decline your offer, my men would rather die having fought than suffer a defeat without battle, Jarl Igmund is an ungrateful traitor to Skyrim and will serve the rest of his days in prison. And as I write this message General Avulsten is in the process of relieving the siege of Dunstad. I am looking forward to our future battle, you can find me in Dawnstar when your legion musters the courage your Emperor can't.

Signed Ulfric Stormcloak, Jarl of Windhelm

The Mede Empire has betrayed not only Skyrim, but The Nine Divine's themselves by bowing to the High Elves and their Justiciars. The Mede's are weak and have forged a state that is not fit of The Empire's name, and it seems the dream of a united Tamriel died with Martin Septim's sacrifice on that heroic day. The Nords will not bow to an Emperor that is willing to surrender every Imperial's way of life, and betray the very man and god that united us two ages ago. Many Nords died in the Great War, and for what? After a victory in the field The Empire was too quick to surrender, thousands of Elves were felled at the Red Ring and the Emperor still did nothing but surrender condition after condition to the Altmer. The Mede dynasty are not fit to rule over the Nords, and we will never serve any Mede Emperor, the Nords will never forgive them for betraying Talos.

The true sons and daughters of Skyrim salute the Redguards in their fight against the Elves. And to The Dominion we urge that your justiciars stay out of Stormcloak territory, we can not guarantee they will make it back to the Summerset Isles unharmed.

Imperial camp, north of Fort Dunstad

Legate Rikke heard General´s angry voice before she even entered his tent.
"...Are you telling me our scouts didnt know about the army led by that old fool? You let the blind man sneak into our lines, sergant? We will have to- Ah, Legate Rikke. Have you heard the news?"
"Yes, General. Jarl Skald gathered his men and cut off our forces that were besieging Fort Dunstad", Rikke hesitated, " I have another bad news".
Tullius shook his head," Go on, tell me. What can be worse than this?"
    "Its Ulfric, general.
He brought new troops from Windhelm, he just landed in Dawnstar. Our scouts say he can be in Solitude withing a day," said Rikke urgently."Im afraid Skald was only supposed to get our attention, so Ulfric would take Solitude without a fight."
"Damn this. If we went here, would we even have enough men to repel him?" general sighed, remained silent for few seconds."Sergant, we have to march to Solitude immediately. Go!"

After sergeant left the tent, general continued:" This isnt going how I expected at all. First we lost Whiterrun and now this. We spend almost all our resources for this siege. And those damn orcs, without Markarth we will not have enough gold to pay our soldiers. And if we lose Solitude, we will not be able to retreat south because of the orcs."
"General, I actually have some good news", Rikke smiled," Lord Gathurn is besieging Markarth with almost all his men. Our forces prepared fortifications to not let him leave the city any time soon. In the meantime our legionaries put under siege New Orsinium and the orcish prince. The scouts assure us there are no orcish forces nearby to lift the siege."
"Last time our scouts assured us about enemy movement they let that old fool surprise us", Tullius noted, "If this works, we could bring new men from The Reach. Rikke, who is leading our troops there? After the death of previous commander it has been a little bit chaotic here..."
"We dont know, General", Rikke responded.
"Damn The Eight!" General muttered in disbelief.

    Stormcloak Rebellion - T4
Four thousand and some pairs of boots trod down the rain soaked dirt path towards Riverwood. Ragnar and Galmar had mobilized the strongest army in Skyrim and were marching to secure their kingdom's borders. With Helgen and perhaps Bruma in the hands of the Stormcloaks, the Empire and their Aldmeri puppet masters would never be able to set foot in Skyrim again. First, before that goal, came the Imperial wall of forts that would take skirmish after skirmish to break through.

The reception of the army was a mixed bag in Riverwood. As the main column came by, the majority of the inhabitants were quiet save for a few families who were staunch supporters of Ulfric. Ragnar recognized many of those faces from his escape with Ralof, who rode aside him.

"Have you been missing home, friend? Enjoy it while it lasts."
"Aye that I have, though I can't think of any cause more right to be fighting for than this"
    "I hope you're right..."

Balgruuf hadn't shown Whiterun to be a difficult battle, so some Imperial captain sacrificed by his superiors wouldn't fare any better. After a few volleys of the machines the hastily erected defenses were nothing more than splinters hardly stopping the onslaught of Skyrim's true sons. They killed them to the man.

Onward the men pushed until the ruins of Helgen were in sight. Beneath the ruined walls laid yet another camp. The Empire must have been desperate to throw away so many lives. This fort too shall fall. Ragnar, the Dragonborn and Slayer of the World Ender Alduin would see it done.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A cool fog rolled in on the reach that morning, obscuring sight to a mere few feet. The Imperial guard on duty hardly realized it when an orichalcum tipped arrow pierced his neck leaving him choking on his own blood. Seconds later, a well organized horde of orcs led a ram up to the gate and bashed it down. Not a few minutes later, the garrison had given up the fight. Only twelve orcs had fallen in the assault.

The orc Chieftain smiled a toothy grin. The Empire would never underestimate the strength of Orcish arms again. Onward to victory!

The Great Houses of Morrowind - T5
"A Redoran is a warrior whose duty is first to the Tribunal, second to House Redoran, and third to family and clan."
Once the argonians had invaded Morrowind, they woke the wrath of the Great Houses that remained in power. House Redoran, Telvanni and House Dres combined forces to crush and push back the invaders and eventually invade Black Marsh itself to bring justice to the Argonians. House Redoran rallied its forces to make up a frontline and wait for the other Houses to bring assistance and so they waited. Finally a message was sent by House Dres . House Dres had amassed multiple large armies and had positioned them to strike down the honourless Lizardmen. After many months the plan for vengeance was put in motion and finally House Dres was ready to strike. So the two Great Houses of Redoran and Dres waited for the House of Telvanni and they too were ready to strike . House Redoran took the initative on the field while Dres was happy to root out the Lizards from the towns that are inhabited by Dres people.
The warriors of House Redoran found the leader of the Argonians dug up in a village that once was inhabited by Dunmer. They took the initiative and crushed the Argonians and left theyr army along with the leader of the Argonians dead. House Dres on the other hand took the initiative in the east and Besieged the city of Tear to regain control over theyr once capital.
The Redorans managed to eliminate the argonian army but before taking vengeance on the Argonians they had rooted out the corrupted Necromancers from the city of Ebonheart.

    Mede Empire - T6
Arentus, General of First Legion, was explaining his officers where does he want to build new fortifications while sitting in his horse. For now he didnt have enough men to dare face the armies of The Stormcloaks in open battle. His legion was slowly retreating into Pale Pass "This is the perfect place, dig a trench here, 2 meters deep. Behind the trench build a palisade with balistas directly from north to the south. They will have no other option than to launch direct attack. Hopefully they will lose more men than we. They cant bypass it, on one side is the lake, on the other are mountains. The Stormcloaks have to take our fortifications in Helgen first, so I estimate we have two days, maybe less." he raised his voice so the legion could hear him:"For Every step closer to Cyrodiil we will make them pay with their blood! We need to delay their advance, most of First Legion should arrive in one week, till that moment we mustnt let The Stormcloaks enter lands of our fathers and mothers. For Emperor!" Arentus shouted, the legion was responding to him with pounding of their swords and spears.
"Everyone who has hands and legs will dig!" Arentus ordered, now the men didnt seem so happy.
"Officer Ris, do we have any news from General Tullius?" Arentus asked one of the young officers. Seems we run out with experienced officers, they are now sending me only these inexperienced young fools, Arentus thought.
"My lo-lord" Ris stammered surprisedly, " General Tullius is still in Solitude, he consolidated his remaining men to defend the city and jarl Elisif."
    "And?" Arentus asked impatiently.
"Ulfric left Dawnstar. Our scouts cant find him. The General think he is marching somehwere south. General Tullius also sent part of his forces to retake Markarth."
"Hm, Im sure Tullius knows what is he doing. With Ulfric leaving Dawnstar he should have more options what do. Find our mage, tell him to report news of our situation to Tullius" Arentus ordered. " Yes general!"

An hour later, Arentus, accompanied by his horse guards, was riding north/east to see whether the forts are still holding, or whether they have already fallen. Suddenly, ahead of them on road they could see four legionaries hurrying in the opposite direction.
" Soldiers, what are you doing here?!"
They seemed nervous, and when they released who are they talking to they turned pale. " General, Dragonborn used his Thu´um to break the walls! We were heavily outnumbered, there was no hope we had to-"
    "You abandoned your commander?!"
"No my lord! We-" Before he has even managed to finish his sentemce, his head was lying on the ground next to his legs. Arentus was holding his sword stained with blood.
" Take the other three into camp and hang them as deserters!" He yelled at his men.

Kingdoms of Daggerfall and Wayrest - T6
Along the Bjoulsae River lays the mighty Fortress of Gauvadon guarding the east for anyone who would attack Wayrest and the location were the main army is stationed.

Now the last line of defense against any invaders who would want to take Wayrest them self. The might Fort towered over the surrounding lands and on most days the whole wall would be filled with soldiers patrolling.
However today there was only a few guards the amount you would be expecting to guard a village. Yet still even 100 men and women could hold off an attack for some time.
A rider came running towards the gates Captain Antony came towards the rider who was covered in burgundy clothing and wearing a hood with what looked like chain mail underneath. With him was a single sword a scimitar. The Rider came off his brown horse. Captain Antony came closer seeing the rider was Redguard.
"This is a surprise what are you here for Redgaurd" Captain Antony said in a surprise voice as two guards came behind him.
"Hello sir my name is Achir I have been told to give this letter to the lord here" Achir said with a strange accent.
"Well Prince Damian is currently leading our armies right now and will not be back at all you are speaking to the highest authority here" Captain Antony replied
"Well then this is yours then" said Achir as he takes out a a scroll "Our diplomat will be here in two hours his name is Talib" continues Achir.
Captain Antony looks though the Scroll as he does he puts his hand to his chin. "Well this is interesting i though you didn't want anything from us" Captain Antony finally said.
"We can discuss this further after the diplomat arrives" Achir says as he gets onto his horse.
"We will indeed" replies Captain Antony. Captain Antony then looks at the two men behind him "Get me the council now" he says in a demanding voice.

Three other men in noble cloths had joined the Captain as the approached a old ruined Mer structure. Along with them were four guards three male and one female. As they approached the seen six Redgaurds all but one were armed and wore armor. The one which did seemed to be the diplomat who wore fine silks.
"Greetings Captain Antony my name is Talib we are sorry that this is not in the castle but we are in a bit of a rush" says Talib in a respected voice.
"Well what can we help you with today" Replies Captain Antony
"Im sure you have read the scroll" Replies Talib
"Indeed we have" one of Antony's companions replies
"Let me introduce my companions" replies Captain Antony "This is Our merchant James" he then points to some one else who looks like he is only 16 "That there is our apprentice mage and the last one over there is our treasurer " as he pints to another person.
The captain continues "I know why you wanted us outside you are still at war with the Mer are you"
"In a way yes and no its a bit fuzzy but yes we have come for a trade agreement i trust this is good yes" Talib says "The clan of Forebears has very good products we can trade them with your only city and maybe it can grow again so you can take Wayrest again yes"
"Well we needed to make one change" replies James
    Talib interrupts "What is that"

During his short stay in Fort Gauvadon, diplomat Talib introduced the curious Bretons the traditional Redguard hookah smoking pipe. He used this relaxing activity to further push his diplomatic goals.

"Now, inhale deep and let the smoke fill your body, then exhale" explained Talib as he smoked his hookah.
"You redguards sure are a curious folk, but this I do like this hookah thing" exclaimed Captain Anthony. When the Breton first tried to inhale the smoke, he coughed madly but after an hour, all of the Bretons present were smoking on their own and enjoying themselves.

Talib had also brought an exotic Redguard belly dancer to entertain his hosts after the successful trade treaty a week earlier. And as the dancer and hookahs distracted the rest of the folk present, Talib leaned over to the Captain and talked of his true purpose here, which involved vital information concerning maps...

    Stormcloak Rebellion - T6
The Orcs of New Orsinium are not fools. They know that only two things matter in Markarth and these are Blood and Silver. Only the paltry few town guard remain to defend the city of Silver against the Orcish horde.

The South is marked by the continued smashing of any and all resistance that the Legion can thrown up hastily. Ragnar, the Dragonborn, continues onward to victory, for Sovngarde awaits!

    Mede Empire - T7
"Charge! Kill those stormcloak scums!" Tullius shouted while leading his cavalry to attack the enemy, who was fighting the foot legionaires, from behind. His men eagerly followed him with their horses, although it wasnt easy to find a way between all those trees. When the stormcloaks saw the incoming cavalry they lost their last hopes. Their sergeants were trying to form a defense line against the cavalry, but their men were already occupied with running away. Tullius finally reached the enemy. His horse stroke down one of the sergeants who still had been shouting orders, while Tullius swung his sword through other enemy´s face. Unfortunately he swung so mightly his sword ended in the tree. While trying to get back his sword, another of the stormloaks, who didnt seem to like running away from battle, spotted the chance and attacked Tullius from his right side with spear. Tullius couldnt get his shield into the way of the spear fast enough, so the spear took him down from his horse. If Tullius didnt have his armor strenghtened by a protective spell, he would be gravely injured. One of Tullius bodyguards saw his general is in danger and turned his horse back to aid him. The Stormcloak spotted him and threw his spear. The spear punctured the soldiers chest, and brought him down from his horse.
Into Oblivion, do I have to do everything by myself? Tullius swore while trying to stand up in his heavy armor. The Stormcloak soldier was running to Tullius quickly, when he he was 2 metres far he suddenly jumped with his axe above his head and screaming "For Ulfric!". Tullius immedietly got back on his knees with shield above him to protect himself from the axe. The axe cut into the shield and remained there, so the stormcloak soldier made a trumble in the air ending his flight by bumping into the tree. Swearing Stormcloak was trying to stand up but this time Tullius was faster. He used his shield, with the axe still in it, as a weapon and hit his enemy into his helmet to send him back to the ground. The helmet fell down from his head, and revealed face of man who now seemed scarred. "Ill go to Sovngarde!" He screamed just before Tullius poked his shield into the enemy´s mouth, and then few more times to end his screaming while murmuring to himself "What do you want to do in Sovngarde with such face?". When the soldier died, Tullius was trying to catch some breath finally. He threw away his helmet so he could get some fresh air and also see the battlefield. The battle already moved further from his current position. The Stormcloaks were retreating pursued by the legion, the victory seemed certain. However, it wasnt the first battle today, and also not the last. He sighed, then went to check whether the bodyguard that tried to help him is still alive. He found him lying in puddle of his own blood with the spear still sticked into him. He was still alive, desperately trying to inhale few more times. When the soldier spotted him, he uneasily smiled "General, you are alive.... I was afraid I would die alone, I couldnt ask for a better company..." He coughed blood, then tried to say something more, but he didnt manage that. Tullius closed his eyes and stayed for few moments. Then he went to find his horse and take charge of the legion again.

Few hours later, when the the sun was already close to the horizon, all imperial forces were prepared for another battle. Their lines were occupying significant part of forest glade, waiting for the main stormcloak army led by Ulfric himself to show up on the other side of the glade. Tullius was sitting on his horse, with legate Rikke by his side. Most of the legionaires had dirty armors and weapons from the previous battles, Tullius and Rikke wasnt exception. We look like a band of goddamn orcs Tullius though. Rikke sighed, Tullius looked at her. All the blood couldnt be only from the stormcloaks. "Legate Rikke" Tullius ordered "You will be useless to me if you are dead, the leader of cadre cant be far enough. Go, and order him to heal you."
She bite bullet and responded "Im nord general. I dont need healing. Furthermore the cadre is now busy with preparing for the battle. Ill be alright" She smiled.
"To Coldharbour with you and all nords." Tullius swore and turned back to watch his army. Suddenly he heard a clutter of lot of horse hoofs behind him. He turned around to see at least hundred nordic riders aproaching. He saw banners of Whiterrun, Falkreath, Markarth and few more. They were dirty from blood and mud. One of them drove closer to Tullius and took of his helm, Tullius recognized Jarl Balgruth.
"It almost seems you wanted to start a battle without us!" He grinned
"Its not up to me to decide" Tullius said and pointed at incoming Ulfric army. Balruth looked at the enemy and smiled
"He doenst have so many men, seems its good day to finally meet him at battle"
"Have you destroyed all enemy forces you were ordered to?" Legate Rikke impatiently asked.
"All we could find, apart jarl Skald further east this should be his last army in the area. Our infantry should be here in an hour. Ulfric made horrible mistake by dividing his forces." Balruth responded
"Yes he did. If the Eight wills it shall be his last mistake" Rikke stated.
"Enough!" Tullius interrupted them "Balgruth, you and your riders will join our cavalry on the left, find the captain, he will tell you the rest. Go! I have a battle to win there."

Half hour later, the stormcloak army was prepared for battle. Tullius could see Ulfric, walking in front of the army. He was probably making a speech to his men. When he finished, the army responded with loud cheering. Ulfric then turned towards the imperial lines, and moved against it with his army following him. Imperial Pikemen moved down their pikes, with the remaining legioanaires standing behind them. The Archers released arrows. "Now!" Tullius ordered the leader of the cadre of mages. The Wall of fire erected just in front of running stormcloaks. Some stormcloaks tried to run through it, but they died the in flames. The Imperial legion cheered, and the archers continued in firing the arrows. Suddenly, the deep ancient voice shouted. Dragon voice. In the middle of the fire wall appeared a gap, and a man was standing in it. Ulfric.
He was in the middle of magical globule that suddenly started expanding to all sides, consuming the fire. "I though we have only one Dragonborn to fight!" Tullius angerly shouted at the mage. "He cant have such power" The mage gasped" His mages probably found a way how to strenghten his voice with their own mana. Im certain they cant do anything so powerful again." "You´d better be..." Tullius turned his head back to the battlefield. The Stormcloaks were advancing again, this time more carefully, still covering from arrows. It seemed mages from both sides were too exhausted to fight each other. The stormcloaks were already in range of imperial pikes that already sent first stormcloaks to the ground. Once the pikemen stopped the stormcloaks they started slowly advancing against them, killing few more of them. However, the pikes couldnt do much against heavy armed soldiers. The captain shouted orders. Pikemen moved a step back and erected their pikes again, letting shouting heavy swordsmen attack currently weakened stormcloak lines, taking the role of the attacker from the stormcloaks. Good, exactly how I planned.
Tullius thought. Cavalry was trying to attack the enemy on the both sides of the battle line, but Ulfric left some men behind for this. Those men seemed to succesfully stop imperial cavalry. However, the odds seemed to be in imperial favor. The Legion was using its formation and new tactics, the casaultaties were minimal so far. But they still outnumber us...
Suddenly, in the middle of imperial lines, dragon voice could be heared again. The spell couldnt compete with the first one, but it was still impressive. Several legioanaires flied out few metres, in the empty space was standing Ulfric. His men filled the gap in the imperial lines, destroying imperial formation. However, Ufric seemed to be exhausted, his bodyguards were holding him.
"I ve seen enough" Tullius said, putting on his helm. He took imperial standard into left hand, and his sword into right hand marching into the battle with his staff eagerly following him.
    "For The Empire!"

    Third Aldmeri Dominion - T7

Lord Falcar was reading within his private room in the great elven city of Alinor. New messages arrived from general Aranelyan regarding troop movements and how many phases have been successfully achieved since the past few months. "My plan is getting closer and closer day after day - he thought. - However I have to deal with the other unpatient generals and even with my own son, Prince Ancano. They are calling me secretly coward for not attacking the Empire. They claim that the Redguards still defying us is enough sign that the Empire is backing them secretly, which should be enough for us to break the concordat and strike at them.
Fools they are for letting their bloodlust getting their better thinking! No! We must tread carefully even if we are the strongest. One mistake can cost everything we achieved in the Great War!
Also I am quiet disturbed to hear that my own son is with these problem makers, however I am not that suprised, as I was informed my son is now an alcoholic, which is a disgrace even for a high elf.
But this doesn't matter, for my plans are already in motion and soon we will strike as a snake! Strike at their hearts!"
He started reading the last message from Aranelyan, about how he advices to move out, when the time is right. General Aranelyan is a legendary commander within the dominion army. It wasn't a suprise for anyone, when he got the offer to lead the Dominions forces in this secret campaign. His skills are so far unsurpassed in the battlefield and his records show no defeats what so ever in his life. Lord Falcar was always satisfied with him and he expects the same this time aswell.
After this Falcar turned to a letter sent by a loyal justicar from the distant frozen lands of Skyrim. The letter detailed the current ongoing situation and aswell the latest successfull victories the Empire achieved.
"Ohh Ulfrick Stormcloak. You are one interesting character. You were always againts us and then you formed your rebellion to overthrow the Empire in Skyrim, so you can make your own kingdom to defy us! How ironic, that your rebellion so far only give us advantages. The Empire is focused on Skyrim, which allows us to do our own thing, without the Empire observing us." Falcar chuckled, when he tried to imagine, what would Ulfrick say, if he would learn that all he is doing is just helping the Dominion and not doing any harm.

The Great Houses of Morrowind - T7
Ages ago when the Argonians invaded us, The people of Morrowind, and ravaged our lands we were close to falling apart. We fought between ourselves and almost payed the ultimate price for it. Under the leadership of the Redoran, Dres and Telvanni alliance we became united as a people. We fought and we defended for many years untill we came to a stand-still. The invaders were still on Dunmer lands, enslaving and slaughtering our people as they wished. Then a new leader arised from the midst and took the role of supreme leader in this war-torn land. Under the leadership of the new leader we started to push back the argonians and push them out of our ancestral land. We started with the areas sorrounding Narsis. We gradually fought and eventually got controll of the area. After some seasons we managed to coordinate with all of our forces to take back the Ancient cities of Tear and Thorn. With that our Homeland war was won and the argonians pushed out of Morrowind.
But this is not the end of the war with the treacherous argonians. Now begins a new age for the Dunmer people. We choose to push further and subjucate the argonians under our law. They will pay for theyre crimes and for the invasion. We will not stop untill the last argonian city falls. All that stands in the way is an army of necromancers.
The necromancers that were lead by their prince stood and faced our king on the battlefield. He and his lackies were no match for the Redoran army. They were sorrounded and slaughtered with only 300 of the Redoran dead and over 1000 on the enemy side. Before the invasion of Argonia(as we call it) continues, we must root out the undead and slay them. Our honour requires it.
Although the Redoran armies are busy with the undead menace, the other Great Houses to not sit idly by. The combined armies of the Dres march on the coastal city of Archon and besiege it.
Let it be known. A new power is on the rise which is the Morrowind nation. We have a right to the Argonian lands and want vengeance. Any who want to stand in our way to achieving our vengeance will unleash the full might of the Dunmer upon them.

The torches of legionaries and mages, who were wandering across the forest glade, were revealing the horrors of battle that happened there. The glade was filled with dead bodies covered in blood and mud. Cacophnic cry of wounded soldiers was omnipresent. Tullius was kneeling next to Legate Rikke. He had seen here fall in the beginning of the battle so he knew where to look for her after the end of the fights. He felt guilty for hear death. She had been already wounded before the battle began, but she refused not to fight when he ordered her to. I should have insisted... Since the beginning of the rebellion she was his right hand, she had part in all victories they won. She believed in their cause and died for it. I will finish this for you. I will bring peace to Skyim. He promised her.
He looked at her for last time and turned around to find his officers. It didnt take him long as they had been already looking for him.
"General! We are still pushing the stormcloaks, they are retreating south. Should we still pursue them?"
Tullius took a while to think it through, then finally responded:"No. At least for now. We have supplies and more men. Ulfric does not have anything of that. He will not run far. Now we need to help our wounded. We march at dawn"

The battle on march lasted four days. The Stormcloaks were pursued by undefagitable legion and nordic cavalry lead by jarl Balgruth. Reports were saying Ulfric was wounded. Finally, the exhausted and hungry stormcloaks decided to stop running and put up their last fight. The reached burnt village of Rorikstead, where they fortified and prepared for their last fight. The didnt have to wait for too long. Soon the village was surrounded and General gave his men order to attack.

The resistance was harsh. The Stormcloaks fought till their last men. Ulfric was taken prisoner. In the dawn of next day, the execution began in the centre of the village. Ulfric was slowly moving to the execution podium, accompanied by four guards and slow beating of the drums. Every one was quiet. They all remembered how did end end last execution of Ulfric in Helgen. Some people were wathing the skies, with fear in their eyes. Ulfric reached the podium. He looked like he is barely standing, yet his eyes were revealing he is still here. "Where is Rikke?" Ulfric quietly asked.
"She is dead" Tullius responded and started his speach:" Ulfric Stormcloak. Some here in Skyrim call you hero. But a hero doesnt use a power like The Voice to murder his king and usurp his throne. You started this war, pungued Skyrim into chaos and now the Empire is going to put you down, and restore the peace."
"The peace?" Ulfric laughed. "This is not the end, old man. Galmar will lead the stormcloaks instead of me, and Dragonborn-" One of guards pacified him with his fist, and made him put his head on block.
The Priestess of Arkay stepped forward to say the formalities:
"As we commend your soul to Aetherius, blessing of The Eight Divines upon you, for you are the salt and earth of Nirn, our beloved-"
Ulfric spitted blood:" For the love of Talos, shut up and get over with it."
She looked on Tullius, and when he nodded, she said "As you wish" and stepped back.
The Executioner raised his axe upon his head and swung down. Head of Ulfric was rolling away from his lifeless body. The audience finally inhaled. No dragons showed up and Ulfric was finally dead.

The diplomats Maramal and Talib stood outisde the entrance of the keep in Koegria, waiting to be allowed inside to speak to Prince Istirus.

"Greetings brother, I presume you are here for the same reasons I am?", asked Talib as he wrapped his cloak tighter about himself against the cold High Rock chill.

"Indeed I am. Our lords want to be on good terms with the Bretons. They might be of use to us if those pesky Elves decide to invade us again", answered Maramal.

"I just hope this Prince Istirus will see eye to eye and agree on what we offer. By the way may I ask what Lord Talib has offered to Istrius?", Talib inquired.

"Well, we have heard the Prince has an appetite for both gold and......the pleasures of life. That is why we have brought a couple of our famed dancing girls to appease him", smiled Maramal. "In exchange we hope he will accept trade deals and update information us the borders we share.

"That is quite a convincing tactic I must say so myself", grinned Talib. "We on the other hand brought our beautiful, deadly Redguard steel blades as gifts. Perhaps the Prince will see the double meaning in that..."

Tribes of Black Marsh - T8

The sinister Elven forces continue to move through our swamps. Imagine that, those vile things here, in Blackmarsh! Surely before even reaching the bulk of our loyal forces, they will they succumb to any of the diseases outsiders tend to catch in our lands, to which we are immune. Those sententious, beastly Dunmer have not yet begun to feel our wrath, our forces shall slay them all with such a righteous fervor, their Elven brethren , and those all over Tamriel, and all the way to the Summerset Isles shall feel it, and know what has come of the invaders to our homeland! Indeed, they shall regret the day they stepped foot in our lands, and curse their ancestors for their crimes to our people in the past

    Elsweyr Confederacy - T8
As the forces were gathered, the generals sat down.
"Those... creatures across the sea have had their lands for long enough! said one general and others agreed"
"We cant just invade them, we dont even know where there troops are, the others said"
"Are you saying our troops are too weak? How dare you!"

*And so it continued for a while*

Suddenly the door opens and the crown-prince came in, late as always.
It didnt take long before everyone was silent, crown-prince M'Raai-dar was never viewed as the most loyal general, but amongst everyone at that table, he surely was the best.
"It seems you are having quite the argument here, mind if I join in? M'Raai-dar began"
The generals looked at each other, they knew, once the crown-prince got involved in an argument, it would always end with him getting what he wants.
The generals didnt have to say much before the crown-prince understood what this was all about.
"Hmm... A good fight I would be up for, but I am quite enjoying myself here and I hate crossing the sea.. what do you say father?"
Everyone looked at Mana-Rahirr, who had not said a word yet. For a leader he never spoke much and barely ever got involved in arguments.
"Well, half of the generals want to invade and the other half wants to stay back. However we must not forget that there is another possible threat nearby, the Empire. While they may not attack us, we must be strong if we ever want to face them, with the economical support Anequina has been giving us we can maintain strong armies. We shall use these armies to fortify ourselves on a strong position from which we can control all that we need to control, this decision is final and there shall be no more arguments."
Most the generals sighed... the royal family never liked arguments while it was one of their favorite things to do. The generals stood up and started walking away.

And so the pelletine armies and fleet watch over Elsweyr and its seas, gladly awaiting any enemy willing to strike.

    Third Aldmeri Dominion - T9
    To the people of Hammerfell!

You challenged our rights, you challenged our authority and you dared to fight againts us!
In the First Great War we demanded the religion of Talos to be forbidden, we demanded lands we have rights over and yet you chosed war instead. You may stood together with the Empire, but we won the war and now the Empire bowed before us and shares our beliefs and viewpoints of Tamriel. You are the only one, all alone, who stands againts the White-Gold Concordat and to this day, you still refuse to bow down!

The treaty of Stros M'kai may have brought peace for your lands, as we decided to withdraw, so we can defeat the Empire in the Great War. We warned you to accept our order or suffer the consequences! The time has come now and this will be the last warning! Forbid the Talos worshipping, cede the control of the southern lands of Hammerfell to us and we will treat the remaining lands of yours the same as the Empire.
Peace will be kept and you can continue your daily life, without any disturbance as now.
Fail to bow down before our might and you will feel our wrath!

    Aldmeri Dominion public proclamation.

Clans of Crowns and Forebears - T9

    To the Altmer!

You come to us bearing swords and demand we bow down to you? Posh Elven scum like yourselves do not know the pride of the Redguard people. We will never bow or submit to anyone, not to the Empire, the Bretons or to you! We have not forgotten how you have treated us and we hold grudges close to our hearts. If you come here, your armies will die on the dry sands of Hammerfell. We will bring suffering upon your forces the likes of which you have never seen! If you come to us with the sword you will die by the curved sword....

    Aldmeri Dominion - T9
General Aranelyan and all of the armies under his command set up their camps within a small chunk of land of hammerfell in utmost secrecy. The Redguards never bothered to send scouts to this area, which made the shipping phase of the Aldmeri forces more easy for him. They waited for this moment and now the time has come. He ordered to all of his generals under his command to gather for the final briefing within the great tent of his. It took a few hours to all high-ranking member to show up. None them dared to uther any words, as all of them knew, why they are gathering here. The time indeed has come.

When everybody gathered and took their place, Aranelyan took his own seat, looked upon everyones face and then began:
"Several hours ago, I received back the answer of the Redguards. They remain stubborn and they threatened us with death, should we show up. Their arrogance knows no bound. However we did warn them and now they will face the consequences. We discussed our strategies for many times and as such I trust everybody knows his part."
There was a silent nodding from everybody and Aranelyan smiled for a little and took comfort from that everyone under his command doing their best and they haven't failed him so far, then he continued:
"The invasion plan of Hammerfell will continue, as we planned. Our excessive scoutings with our spy network and stealth scouts made us aware of everything that happens in the coastal regions. We know where are they armies, where they are concentrating and we know where to strike at the heart of the Crowneds. Our attacks begin on the following settlements. Gilane Leibon Taneth and Rihad. 3 smaller forces will attack Gilane, Leibon and Rihad aswell create forts to block of important roads aswell as to halt any outsider redguard armies to reinforce the cities, before they fall. The main army lead by me will strike at Taneth, the capital itself. The majority of our army will concentrate there, after that we move to the Fortress between Taneth and Rihad. The docks of that fortress hold all the military ships the crowned have, however our main fleet will initiate a blockade and stop any outbreaking. Our calculations proves, we will have the coast within reasonable time, as well as deal a major blow to the crowned faction. I expect no questions, so everyone get ready and make sure we will bring glory to the Dominion and to the race of Mer!"

After Aranelyan speech everyone left his tent to make sure every soldier is ready for the invasion. The invasion of Hammerfell has began and they will face the wrath of the High Elves. Some would say this will be the start of the Second Great War. Only time will tell.

Clans of Crowns and Forebears - T9
Lord Talib watched outside his palace window as the huge Dominion army besieged the walls Taneth.

"So these tricky pointy-eared bastards went right for me eh?" sighed Talib, as he watched Dominion mages casting magic storms over in the distance.

Lord Talib and his personal army of bodyguards had been besieged by the Dominion just as they prepared to leave the city into the desert. For none of the other coastal cities attacked had any forces left inside the walls. But the Elves managed to speedily catch the Crowned leader and most likeley calculated that the other Redguard forces would surrender upon hearing of their lord's capture. But the Redguards are a stubborn folk....

"They can capture me or kill me, it matters not. Hammerfell shall never submit and this war will cost them dearly.....For the Elves know not this land of sand and mountains and they do not know my son!" he said to himself.

    Elsweyr Confederacy
The island was small, probably too small for the amount of men currently on it.
The men did not like it, they wanted to fight, not "guard" the seas, especially not when they had to do it from a fort.
But it werent just the men who didnt like it, most of the generals started to dislike their job more and more.

Mane Ra'Jahirr had started to notice this and knew that, he aswell, wanted to fight.
"General! General!" it sounded, as a messenger ran towards Mane Ra'Jahirr.
"General, the money has been received at home and the Anequina reinforcements are on their way!" The messenger said.

"Its about damn time", Mane Ra'Jahirr said. "Call the other generals, were gonna go to war."
It didnt take long before everyone sat at the table, most very excited for the news they heard.
"Men" Mane Ra'Jahirr started. "After the small amount of time we have been here, I have learned a valuable lesson. We are not guardians, we are fighters!"
Most agreed and let out a small chant.
"For this reason", Mane Ra'Jahirr continued, "I have sent a messenger a few weeks ago to ask our ally, Anequina for a favor. They will supply our home with both money and troops so people such as the Empire shall not interfere with what we are about to do."
"Those filthy Argonians have lived on the other side of our sea for long enough, they have no right to claim any land as theirs and they will not be allowed to have it their way. They think, that they are safe, have nothing to fear but let me tell you, they are about to feel real fear. Call forth your men and follow me into battle. We siege Soulrest and soon after that, everything else!"

"Besides, if we conquer all of our enemies, we wont need to guard anything"

    Mede Empire - T10
The Last capable leader of The Stormcloaks, Galmar Stonefist has been slained and Ragnar The Dragonborn was taken captive ( killed ingame)! Furthermore, the siege of Morthal was lifted. Its now only matter of time before the last rebels opposing the brave jarls of Skyrim, supported by The Imperial Legion, are brought justice!

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"...was defeated by our forces in bloody battle and after that they retreated back into Markarth. It is now only matter of time, until the self-called king of New Orsinium is slained, together with all his followers. Actually, as we speak the the siege might be over already. King Eugal marched long way to help Imperial Legion in their wars, and in the end men of Wayrest accomplished what the legion failed in. In exchange emperor Titus offered us lands that were controlled by the orcs. The Lands that are actually already de iure ours now, since Count of Evermore pledged his allegiance to King Eugal of Wayrest. We are talking about southern Bangkorai including Heldorn and a Dragonstar region. Our great Emperor Titus has already made it official. We only need to discuss things such as naming new lords in these lands and other administrative business..." Lord Nathanuel of Alcaire, representing interests of Wayrest in The Elder Council, had already been talking for some time, indulging his political victory.

Elder Council Chambers in Imperial Palace were unusually full today, only few members hadnt arrived yet. These emergent elder council meetings are becoming pretty often High Chancellor Jirolius Akkius thought. The council was called in answer to new Aldmeri invasion against Hammerfall. It was discussed yesterday, today, the council was handling lesser matters as Emperor wasnt present. However, he was expected to arrive in few days. Then we can finally really start solving things Jirolin knew. When colovian warrior Titus I Mede conquered Imperial City and sit on The Ruby Throne with Stormcrown on his head, he limited power of Elder Council, and his heirs followed this path. The council was ordinary dealing only with legislation and taxes, the most important decisions were usually made by Emperor himself. In emergency of power related to the Emperor the council was supposed to take more important part in governing The Empire, although Emperors of Mede dynasty never let such situation happen. Jirolius had been been loyaly supporting the emperor, and watching over Elder Council for him. Jirolius and chief general of Imperial Legion, the most powerful men in The Empire, were the main advisors to Emperor Titus, taking part in most of his decisions.

The wayrest matter was finally finished, and content Nathanuel sit back to his seat. If everything goes well, Daggerfall-Wayrest alliance shall soon rule High Rock, only kingdom of Northpoint and Jehanna remains... Emperor had been secretly supporting this alliance for a very long time, as The Emperor wanted to finally unite divided High Rock, what would make many things easier. Before any other councilor could present new matters, suddenly the large door opened, revealing Imperial Magus Cyronion. He came closer to the council table. His face was promising very bad news.
" We just got message from Commander Maro of Penitus Oculatus. The Emperor was assassinated."
The always loud council was completely silent for a while, then everyone started speaking at once. High Priest of The Eight Andel stood up and started a prayer for the emperor. Jirolius wasnt listening, he was still trying understand what had just happened. No.. How could this happen? This is disaster...
Jirolius finally looked up, and found out the prayer had already ended, and most of councilors were looking at him.
He looked on Cyronion and cautiosly asked him "Do we have the identity of the assassin?"
"He escaped, however commander Maro is convinced it was Dark Brotherhood. The assassin was suposedly a listener from Riften sanctuary. Commander Maro is hurrying here together with an army to destroy them and find answers."
High Priest Andel turned red and started shouting: " I warned you all about them several times! This filthy savage cult must be finally destroyed! I will call holy war against Dark Brotherhood!"
There was no need to discuss that any further, from the reaction of the council it was clear its supported completely. Finally, someone asked the most anticipated question: "But who paid them?"
"The goddamned thalmors! Dominion will pay for that!" " No, the stormcloaks are behind this, they are losing the war so this was their last chance!" "If it was Dominion, it must be beginning of the new invasion. We should send the legion south!" "Why would Dominion assassinate him now, when all their troops are in Hammerfall and Blackmarsh?"
Jirolius lost patience and used his authority to silence the council, "Silence. It is now our responsibility to rule The Empire. We must secure the realm and prepare forthe consequences of this. We are in serious danger from several sides. Dominion will use the chaos. And dont forget we still have to deal with dragon crisis what is a threat for the entire Tamriel!" Jirolius made a pause, look at each member of council trying to find who is on his side. Then he laid one of the most anticipated questions:" Chief general, will Imperial Legion obey Elder Council?"
Eyes of everyone in the council nervously turned to Chief General Indaril. Jirolius wasnt nervous at all, he and Indaril had been allies for several years, he knew he could rely on him. Indaril stood up and started his speech:
" These are dark days for The Empire, but Imperial Legion will protect The Empire on, as we had for thousands of years. We will obey Elder Council and High Chancelor Jirolius Akkius."
After his words, the tension in the hall was lowered.
Proventus Valga, lord of Chorrol and a leader of opposition to High Chancelor didnt seem content: "And what about a successor to The Ruby Throne? Should we choose who shall become The Emperor? Or does the High Chancellor intend to seize the power and become a potentate?"
The concil was on fire again...

Several hours later, after the night had already came, exhausted Jirolius was leaving the Elder Council Chambers. In the end the council managed to agree on the most important matters. However, Jirolius was prepared to use his new power and allies to do whats necessary for the survival of The Empire anyway, even if the council hadnt managed to agree on it. Later, when he was in his chambers, the chief general came to visit him.
"Ah, what brings you to me in these late hours Indaril?"
" I thnk we both know who was behind the assassination, High Chancelor. We should make steps against them before it is too late. We should arrest them!"
"That is exactly what we mustnt do. It would lead to the civil war, that is the way we cant take now. Leave the policy to me, thats what I do. Ill deal with them. Anyway, we have more important things to solve right now. The Dragonborn. Did you do what did The Emperor ordered you, before he had left us, in this matter?"
"Yes. General Tullius should take care of this...."

The Great Houses of Morrowind - T10
    Victory is at hand
With the long conflict in the south lasting many years, its finally coming to an end. The argonians are at the brink of extermination and the Dunmer people are ready to rule over the east. With the fall of Helstorm, the Redoran armies push ever so closer to the last remaining cities of the Argonians. With the Dres and Telvanni controlling the coasts and Redoran might coming down from the north, victory is all but ensured.
The Leaders of the Great Houses gathered in the newly aquired settlement of Helstorm.

The king of the Redoran people started out the meeting by congradulating the Generals and Leaders for having great success in the south and in the east. He said "With those lands under our control we now need to combine our armies and sorround the remaining stronghold of the argonians,Blackrose". The leader of the Dres interupted his speech and started to take out scrolls aquired by the argonians and said,"We might be close at hand to victory but we have pressing matters to talk over. After capturing Lilmoth our soliders found scrolls of troop movement from the Argonians, In these scrolls there is described another nation that wishes to take land from them. The scrolls talk about an invasion force that landed from the west and took Soulrest and are now moving towards Blackrose themselves. We must deal with this matter before we besiege the argonians" the Dres leader said. The Telvanni were all but done with this war and just wanted it to end and not see a new conflict arise although they supported the Redoran leader in their plan. Redoran king took word,"Let us not meddle with other forces, we do not have to start a new war here.Let us finish off the Argonians and be done with it. We have come too far now to stop and by attacking another army we risk starting a new war. We do not have the supplies or men to do so, let them be, because this is only good news for us. They will help us get rid of the Argonians faster"
The meeting ended with the leaders of the Dunmer agreeing not to meddle with this new force and continued back to their war duties.

After all there was a race to root out.

Default Re: The Dragonborn Comes - [The Elder Scrolls: Total War - Unofficial Patch] [Hotseat Roleplay]

    Turn 11-30
(The hotseat activity in roleplay was decreased heavily between turns 18-30 as there werent many interesting events. However, with the new events from turn 30, the roleplay activity should increase more than ever before. At least from my side.)

Clans of Crowns and Forebears - T11
"Beat them back brothers! Send the heads of every Altmer general you kill to their King! Leave the rest of them in the sand and the mud to rot under the hot sun....TO VICTORY REDGUARDS! DRIVE THEM BACK FROM OUR SHORES!"

This was the message that King Ennis had sent to all the Redguard armies and partisan forces after the siege of Hegathe was relieved. The Aldmeri forces ventured deeper and deeper into Hammerfell and found empty villages and towns and most of the food stores depleted or destroyed. Every now and then partisan Redguards harassed the Aldmeri during sand storms or at night. Tired of this type of war, the Aldmeri generals decided to create groups in order to destroy the various sources from where the Redguards were stationed, but not soon after disaster struck them.

Army group center of the Aldmeri invasion force was attacked by Prince Sarrius in a sudden lightning maneuver right after a sandstorm had passed over the Aldmeri camp and a bloodbath ensued. It was safe to say that Army group center was crushed and only time would tell if the Altmer could recover from this.

The forces sent into the eastern mountains were ambushed by Lord Artago and many Elves were cut down as they ran through the snowy woods to their camps.

The siege of Soulrest was a big succes, the armies were still fresh and motivated but the generals had other thoughts.

It was silent... nobody wanted to speak. Blackmarsh had been invaded only to find out that they werent the only invaders..
It was the crown prince, M'Raaj-Dar that broke the silence.
"I still cant believe it. We should have known!" He said as he slammed his fist on the table.
"Did we come here to risk the lives of our men, only to find out our enemy is already getting beaten? I will not accept that."
    Several generals nodded in agreement
Mane Ra'Jahirr noticed how his generals started to dislike Morrowind more and more.
"Men" He started with a clear voice.
"When we started our journey, our goal was to drive out these filthy argonians, wasn't it?"
    Everyone nodded in agreement
"We should consider Morrowind a valueable ally, they did nothing but help us in this matter and we should be grateful for that."
"We did not come to raid and take settlements, we came to do what we believed had to be done"
"Not only has Morrowind sacrified far more lives than we have, they also took down far more Argonians than us"
Once again, the generals nodded in agreement
"We will be taking Moonmarch but we will not interfere with Morrowind in any way. Is that understood?"
Some generals sighed, not all of them were happy with that decision but knew they had to accept it. Many of them were afraid Morrowind did not want them as their ally.

The armies split up, one to protect, one to attack. While not all generals had the same motivation, they all wanted one thing for sure: Victory.
Elsweyr wishes a good relationship with the people of Morrowind. However, if the people of Morrowind show any signs of Aggresion, there will be a reaction

    Third Aldmeri Dominion - T12

Lord Falcar was not too happy with the latest reports he received. Despite the easy victory General Aranelyan promised. Though his forces established a beachhead with a suprise attack, which costed dearly for the Crowned clan. They lost many of their important family members, at the siege of Taneth, as they couldn't leave the city, before the invasion started. However after this victory everything turned around. The Redguards using the desert as masters, so far turned the war around and launched many ambushes on the Aldmeri forces and 1/3 of the original invasion forces is destroyed or soon will be destroyed.
Falcar cursed Aranelyan. He is the best general of the Mer however this underestimation of the Redguards costed greatly.

Atleast new reports indicates, that Aranelyan finally caught up with this new Redguard tactics and currently trying to reorganize the remaining forces.
The Redguards naval forces are completely sunked so the seas are now under control of the Dominion. Another report contained that the infamous Redguard general, Shrike, who succesfully launched an ambush within the greener parts of Hammerfell on Dominion forces, was preparing to finish off our stranded armies, however one of his key offices was assasinated just before they could launch the siege attack and a small elven reinforcement army that just arrived launched a suprise back attack, which created so much confusion for the Redguards, who was not expecting any outside attack, that the besieged Mer army sallied out aswell and defeated Shrike's army.
The great redguard city of Skaven as well as a redguard fort was also captured and two more are under siege right now. The last message of Aranelyan promised that the war will be over soon and he will not let down the Dominion.

"I sincerely hope Lord Aranelyan will keep this promise otherwise I may have to introduce him to a Justiciar investigation. I lost enough troop already on this war, which should have ended right now, but it didn't happen. And now I have to deal with the consequences aswell from our distant relatives, the Dunmers. The damn cats launched their own invasion into the Blackmarsh only to meet with Dunmer forces and lose horribly againts them. In Skyrim Ulfrick is now dead. He was a fine pawn, but sadly he died too soon for my taste. The Empire will moop the rest of these rebels very soon I reckon.
However I was not expecting that the Emperor will die this soon. That helps my plans for now, as the Elder council was never united, which means it will take a long time, before a new Emperor will be crowned and until then I may could use the council for my own ends.
Guards! Summon my messenger! - Soon a tall, sturdy Aldmer entered Falcar's room. - Take the first ship you can get and deliver these orders to our representative diplomat in the Imperial City. He have some new diplomatic messages to be written for several persons for the Dominion. Now, begone!"

    Mede Empire - T13
The Dragonborn was sitting tied in the imperial tent. There were many guards around the tent, followed with powerful magical barriers. Since the battles in Pale Pass, each day the camp moved further north. He had been fed well, however nobody told him anything. He had lot of time to think about the choices he made. About the mistakes he made. He was beginning to think that because he had picked the wrong side, the entire Nirn might be destroyed. He was trying to explain several imperial officers how grave the situation is, but nobody seemed to care about Alduin. It seemed they dont actually know what to do with him.
Suddenly someone entered the tent. Finally. It took the dragonborn a while until managed to recognize the person as he had been sleeping before. General Tullius was watching him with an interest in his eyes. The Dragonborn had finally fully wake up. "Uh, General. What brings you here? Is this finally my last day?"
" Your last day? You lack imagination my friend. If we wanted to kill you we would have done that a week ago. I would have came earlier, but I had some business with your stormcloak friend Ulfric. Fortunately, we finally got rid of him. Oh, you look shocked. Nobody has told you? Thats unfortunate, I hoped you would be already over with this..." Tullius sighed.
The Dragonborn didnt have any significant sympathy for Ulfric, however they had they both fought for the same cause. And Skyrim under the stormcloaks seemed to be the better choice to defeat Alduin than the imperials and thalmors. "What about the remaining stormcloaks?" The Dragonborn gasped.
"The Last forces of the stormcloaks has retreated back to Windhelm. It will be all over within a week." Tullius loked at him and made a pause before he continued " We have more important matters to take care off, especially now with the emperor dead-"
"He is dead? Good" The Dragonborn laughed.
" You should show some respect. You are alive only because he wanted that."
" Respect? He sold his own people and gods to the thalmors."
" You are wrong. He was the only person that was standing between the dominion and the rest of Tamriel. We can only hope we will manage to do the same. He was disappointed you joined Ulfric, he had great hope in you. However, we ended up here. You still have chance to show us he wasnt wrong. Guards! Untie him" The guards showed up, and soon the surprised dragonborn was standing free again.
Tullius continued: " The empire sets you free and forgives you your treason. Its time for you to face Alduin. The Empire will support you in every possible way you need."
" I didnt expect that" the dragonborn admitted " Seems I can finally finish what am I supposed to. Where was I before I got imprisoned? Hm, I think Ill need to use the great hall in Whiterun..."
" Yes, we know about it. However, you should ask jarl Balgruuf about it. He and Delphine are waiting outside. Unfortunately, he is still pretty angry at you for sacking the city..." General Tullius grinned.

    Elsweyr Confederacy - T14
The way back home was met with silence. Nobody wanted to talk about it and they knew the news has already reached their homes.
The defeat of the Pelletine armies was a big disgrace. The armies led by M'Raaj-Dar himself were beaten and forced back home.
M'Raaj-Dar stood on the beach of the island they had camped on on their way back home. Mane Ra'Jahirr walked up to him, he knew his son was dissapointed and angry.
"How do we tell them?" M'Raaj-Dar started. "How do we tell the people at home we lost and then retreated?"
"Retreated? No, we just advanced in the opposite direction" Mane Ra'Jahirr said jokingly.
"This is not the time for jokes father. We have been beaten and forced to go back to our own lands. We had no intentions of harming the people of Morrowind and they still attacked. I can not help but feel hatred for them."
"They were there first son, its simple but true. By the time we arrived they had already defeated the Argonians and we just came to take some free loot. Something we got to pay our price for. This is the way life works.

    It went silent

"But dont worry." Mane Ra'Jahirr began
It is but a matter of time before our people rise again, before our armies will be feared again and we will be unstoppable. Our families know this. They believe in us and therefor we must show them that we are worthy.

M'Raai-Dar grinned: "How are you always so positive I wonder"

    Third Aldmeri Dominion - T15
General Aranelyan was quiet happy this time. Lord Falcars warning about more failures and possible punishment stressed him out heavily, but the tide of war finally changed and victory was within grasp once again. He regrouped the remaining Dominion forces and instructed the generals under his command how to react more efficiently againts the Redguards and their ambushing tactics in the desert. The past mistakes made by the forces of the left and right flank armies costed many men for the Dominion.

Aranelyan in the center with his armies pushed towards Skaven without any resistance and then pushing into the back territories of the Forebear clan. Kingdom of Wayrest send some diplomats and scouts aswell when his army showed up so close to the City of Wayrest.
He paid no attention to this and sent only a captain to inform these diplomats that the Dominion will not do anything againts their beloved city and kingdom. His goal was to crush the Redguards once and for all. 2 remaining Dominion army was ambushed by the remaining main army of the Redguards and forced them back into previously build forts. This forts were under siege and Aranelyan planned to save these armies, but in the way lied the city of Vulnim and a hastily made redguard fort. Luckily for him the small number of troops in the fort was quiet happy to dissappear in trade for big sacks of golds.

With this out of the way the city of Vulnim was besieged by a medium sized forces under Aranelyan leadership. The remaining forces of his army under the command of his first-liutenant made a hasty march to rescue the besieged Dominion armies in the middle of the desert. The Redguards were master of ambushing enemies within the desert, but they never were on the other side. The redguard army was caught under suprise and the Dominion smashed their armies and the survivors tried to take shelter in a fort, they captured not long ago from the elves, but there was no mercy for them, as the fort was besieged and in a bloody assault all redguard soldier was cut down.

The city of Vulnim few days later was succesfully conquered and the Dominion army set up a new strategic location not so far the city. Several forts was built up in short time to halt any redguard retaliation for a time being. These events finally relieved Aranelyan under the pressure he suffered. His mind was eased more when the reports from the other armies arrived. In the east close to the Imperial border the redguard crowned factions last army was utterly crushed and all of their remaining family members of the clan was slained in their last stand. The Crowned faction is no more. Their kingdom, their goverment, their clan is finally ceased to exist. The remaining settlements farther towards the borders of Skyrim now turned into independent towns, but the Dominion will quickly march there to take those.

Aranelyan quickly made his report about these happenings and sent them back to the Summerset Isles. Lord Falcar will be content finally. He can ease a little bit, but not that much. The war isn't over yet. The remaining Redguads are preparing for their last stand at Sentinel as far as the scout reports suggest.

"I promised a quick victory, but I failed. I underestimated my enemy and I paid for it. But I adapted now to their tactics and finally I turned this war around. Victory is at hand now, I can feel it. Soon the redguards will be no more and the Dominion will finally achieve glorious victory on these primitives! My armies will be soon reinforced and we will march upon Sentinel, on their last stand"

Clans of Crowns and Forebears - T15The Redguards were in a retreat. The costly bribe of the fort guarding the pass to Vulnim city resulted in the defeat of the main force of the Forebears. King Ennis sent all his remaning forces west to make a final stand against the invaders since his other forces and allies in the east were annihilated. Ennis knew that the fate of his people rested on his shoulders and he knew they would rather die then kneel to any invader. Standing on top of the tower of the palace in Sentinel, he looked out at the eastern horizon, past the troops preparing defences and the tents outside the walls, and he smiled for he knew that soon glory would be his no matter the outcome of the final battle.

    Elsweyr Confederacy - T17
For a while now, there have been no fights in Elsweyr. Many view this as a good sign but others do not want to relax their guard at any cost.
In Anequina the concept of simple militia forces has now been gone for a couple of years as highly professional armies have taken over.
While the peace continues, Elsweyr grows stronger, benefitting from trade and new buildings.
New generals arise, and the crown prince from Pelletine, M'Raai-Dar, is now one of the, if not the best general in the known world.

While armies in Elsweyr keep moving from one place to another the wealth of Elsweyr is going only one way: Forward.
Having thousands upon thousands of extra cash the people were happy to invest more and more.

And thus, at the end of the week, Elsweyr has grown stronger once more, and also wealthier. They know that that growth will not stop for a while.

The Great Houses of Morrowind - T17
    Victory!
Its been years since news came from the Great Houses of Morrowind. Years after years the Dunmer have waged war at a fearsome level, enemy after enemy the Dunmer slew but victory seemed to approach. After pushing the Argonians back and back the Dunmer reached the southern seas only to be met by Invading Cats that wanted to pick off the Argonians after the Dunmer had struggled for years. There was only one option, throw the cats back into the sea and keep marching forward. And so the cats were defeated from the rightful Dunmer lands and the last cities of the Argonian menace were put under siege.
After 4 seasons, news reached the north
"My Lords i have good news from the south, we are victorious. We have taken the last argonian castle and with that their armies laid down their weapons and submited to us. Our vengeance is complete!"
    The Redoran king speaks up
"Our vengeance has just begun. Our ancestral homes are held by abominations, we might have defeated the Argonians but the real struggle starts now. Ive sent a battallion of the best Redoran men to retake our ancient capital Ald-Ruhn and some days ago received news. Redoran people should be grateful, we managed to liberate the first foothold on Vardenfell. I give hope to you that our ancestral lands can be and will be cleansed from this evil. We have much work to do"
    The lesser nobles ask
"What about the cunning cats my lord? They tried to steal our hard work from us?"
    Redoran king shouts
"We have no quarrel with them, we drived them back to their homeland, our homeland awaits us"

    Third Aldmeri Dominion - T19
Not from far of Sentinel Naeqorwe, second-in-command of the Aldmeri armies within Hammerfell was desiving his final plan to end the redguards once and for all. The redguards built few wooden forts, to block the main road towards Sentinel and pushing through them would cost valuable troops and times. Naeqorwe didn't want to lose any more unnecessary casualties from his armies in this war. His army finally received a catapult division, but even using these siege engines would take much time to destroy the forts, before they can move againts the city itself.
Looking at the map Naeqorwe made a plan. A plan to go around the redguard forts. Sentinel was located close the sea of Iliac Bay and therefore vulnerable to a naval invasion. Arrangement was made and soon as much troops as they can put on to the ships nearby Naeqorwe had under his command. They sailed at night and with the help of the mirror logican mages they remained undetected. Naeqorwe quickly marched his forces around Sentinel when their reached the shores and before the sun rose up the redguards could see that their last city is surrounded and they can't send messengers to their outside forces to regroup.
The catapults combined with the destruction magic from the mages proved enough to collapse the city wall at multiple points and the first charge of the dominion armies began. The heavy infantry clashed with the redguard defender, but the redguards didn't retreat, they standed their ground as long as they could. They knew this is their last stand and they have nothing to lose. When Naeqorwe was leading the second charge into the city, the redguards were already pushed back into the city main square, but they fought for every inch within their city. Soon enough the remnants of the defenders where encircled within the main square and after a bloodbath everyone of them fell. Many members of the royal redguard family including their king died.
After the siege, he quickly regrouped his available units, to mop up the reminders of the resistance outside of Sentinel. Most of the forts already had deserters, especially, when learned from scouts that Sentinel was fallen, so when Naeqorwe was destroying the remaining redguard forts, he didn't met with much resistance.
The independent redguards are no more. Their stubbornness was their death and the Dominion shows no mercy to those, who didn't bow before their might.

Within the Imperial City, the Dominions ambassador, Gildondorin received a letter from his superiors.
"The Redguards are no more ambassador. Inform the Elder Council that the rebels of the concordat are destroyed once and for all. You are also in charge to investigate, what is the new elder council and its leader wishes to do in the future considering the other nations and our nation. You have full authority to do whatever you deem necessary.
    Lord Falcar"
Gildondorin knew that his relaxing life within the Imperial City probably ended now, but he also knew dissappointing Lord Falcar almost equals death and with haste he went to ask for an audiance with the Elder Council.

    Mede Empire/Third Aldmeri Dominion - T22

A meeting between High Chancellor Jirolius Akkius and ambassador Gilgondorin.

Ambassador, welcome. Please, have a seat. So, why did you decide to please me with your glorious presence?

I am grateful for your welcoming Chancellor. I am here to have a good conversation about recent events and to communicate our future directions, the directions of Mer and men. For instance I heard interesting news, from the far lands of Blackmarsh and aswell the end of the famous nord rebellion in Skyrim. I would like to inform myelf better on that subject. I also have one thing to share, but I will leave for later. Now to the matter at hand, I am the most interested in to know, who will be the new Emperor? I, as the representer of the Dominion, would like to know, who will be our new human partner in the concordat.

There is no direct heir to the throne. However, there are some people who might have a claim. Death of the emperor caused many problems we have been diligently trying to solve. Until things get back to the normal, we cant choose a succesor, so Im adraid I will be your partner in concordat for some time. Im sure you are well informed of the situation in Skyrim. The Rebels were famously defeated, The Empire restored the order. New Moot shall be held soon.

Very well. I will patienly wait for the time, when a new Emperor will be crowned. It is good to hear, that those arrogant rebels were crushed. They had the nerve to oppose our agreement for the peace for the race of men we kindly offered. On another subject I have to admin I was suprised to learn, that our distant relatives, the dunmer managed to carve out an empire for themselves and subjugated the argonians. Though the race of mer was always better than the others.

Better than others? How is it possible then you are surprised by the result of the war in Blackmarsh? This was obvious to happen for a long time. Thus The Empire has taken the necessary steps in these matters a long time ago. However, what I find surprising is your botchy invasion into Blackmarsh. It has been gravely affecting diplomacy, and threatening to disrupt the peace with dunmers. How can you justify these actions?

I just only stated a fact, however even, if the dunmer are our distant relatives, that doesn't mean they are on par with everything with us, the Altmer. When the red mountain erupted the dunmers, suffered so heavily that the argonians, their slaves pushed them so far away back and took large parts of their lands, that even I considered it as a major defeat. It was suprising to see, that how they managed to pick themselves up and turning it around by defeating the argonians so soon.
About the invasion of the Khajits, I can assure you it wasn't in the Dominions action. The Khajits are loyal vassals of us, but they retain independence regarding some of the politics. While it was encouraged to build up some sort of mighty army, we never ordered them to launch a quick land grabbing invasion into Blackmarsh.
The Dominion holds no interest in Blackmarsh and as such it is foolish to think we had a hand in it. On the other hand the one thing we had a hand in it, is the same I wanted to formally announce now towards the Elder council. The Redguards opposed againts the concordat and for that they were expelled from the empire. After multiple warnings, they remained stubborn and didn't bow before the will of the Dominion regarding the ban of talos and other points of the concordat. They dig their own grave and as such I formally announce now, the Aldmeri Dominion successfully subjugated whole Hammerfell. The redguard factions, leading noble families are all gone and their civilization is now under our controll. For their arrogance they paid the price.

Hm, Im sure you can anounce it to the Elder Counci if you wish. However, how do you intend to keep control of Hammerfall? The Redguards are very stubborn, and one of the best warriors in Tamriel, they will not tolerate your government for too long. I also remind you most of them still worship Yokudan pantheon, for example Tuwhacca or Tava. Talos was for them only a great hero, not reallly one of their gods. Their withdrawal from Empire was mainly about their honor, as the peace with you would dishonor them in eyes of their ascentors.

They may not have worship talos as other provinces, but the fact that they still build the temples for the nine divines is enough for us to consider them guilty. They are stubborn, yes, but if they don't adapt to their new rulers, well then I can only say Hammerfall will be pacified one way or another. The Dominion doesn't tolerate any rebellion!

While I am at pacification, how did the Emperor died within skyrim, when the rebellion was crushed? The emperor died to a single dark brotherhood agent, which for me shows, the internal security for the emperor was laughable and incompetent.
Also I have information that a certain key figure of the rebellion, a so called "dragonborn" was captured, however from the justiciars didn't report anything more about this person. If he was a key person in the rebellion, why isn't he in a prison and why we didn't receive any new information about his whereabouts?

Nobody is safe against Dark Brotherhood, especially, when they sent their Silencer. Im afraid that even your elite guards would fail to protect you. The Empire decided to finally wipe out this twisted cult from Tamriel. We have already burnt down many of their sanctuaries and executed many of their members. I suppose Dominion will do the same in your territory?

Dragonborn was truly the key person of rebellion. He was going to be executed. Unfortunately, during the chaos of war, it seems he has escaped. But considering the stormcloaks were crushed, he cant do any damage anymore.

Chancellor don't talk about something, you have no knowledge of. I can tell you that the Dominions inner security is far more professional than the imperial ones, especially now that even the Emperor was managed to die by a lone assassin. The arrogance of men as always cloud their own judgement and let things slip by, just like this assasination, which you may find shocking or not, but was ordered by a certain group within the Elder Council itself. It is always good to do politics with a political group, where killers are welcomed to hide. And before you ask, no I don't know names, I only know that your precious council isn't what it seems like.

However what you said about the Dragonborn is preposterous. For example you claim, that the so called Dragonborn managed to escape in the chaos of the war. I find it very inconvenient that he could escape, when he was a key figure of the rebellion. A figure that was even more dangerous than Ulrick himself, who someone was managed to be captured a detained until was executed, but the dragonborn can just waltz out in a simple confusion? Don't lie to me chancellor I and the Dominion isn't stupid. We are well aware that the Dragonborn was most likely set free by your General Tullius. You do know, that these actions are close to breaking the Concordats points? Is the race of men wants another war they can lose?

I see your thalmor agents are not paid for nothing.

Firstly, I can assure you I am well aware of the treacherous group in Elder Council. I even know some names. We shall soon bring peace the spirit of emperor by putting heads of he traitors in pikes. However, this plan is still in preparation and we are not fully ready to confront them. But its all being taken care of. You dont need to worry about that anymore.

That you believe I am lying, hurts me deeply. The Empire would not be foolish enough to release such a dangerous enemy. I was reported he had escaped, and I am certain that is what has happened. However, I see this interests the dominion, and you in particular. Thus in order to preserve our always good relations, Ill look into that for you.

I will be waiting for that then. I hope the empire agency will do a better job this time.
Thank you for your time chancellor, but I must take my leave now. We chatted for a quiet while and I most attend other things. I believe you will inform the council about what happened with hammerfell and what we talked about. I will looking forward for our next time when we have a chance to talk. Good day chancellor.

Kingdoms of Daggerfall and Wayrest - T22
King Damian sat at his table his hand on his forehead as he studied his map which lay sprawled across the table. A single candle lit the room its wax dribbling down onto the left corner of the table.
"It over" he said out loud "The duel kingdom of Highrock"
He went over and grabbed a bottle of wine that lay on the right side of the table, Damian drank it slowly.
He took a look out the window the sky was dark and heavy but he could still make out the men carrying there touches. "Nearly two years of fighting" he looked at the men and though to him self 'my fathers mighty armies now gone all that remains are the most skilled men in the kingdom'
There was a knock on the door
"Come in" the king said quickly putting the bottle down.
One of his knights cam in.
"My king" the night replied "We have word King Gerard is also leaving for home and peace is now all over Tamriel the great peace ha....."
"The what great peace it is a lovely fantasy with the Storm-cloaks defeated and more importantly the dragon borne being captured the dragons menace will only grow i fear that another great dragon war is looming over head" he grabbed the bottle of wine "sit share a drink with me knight" as king Damian handed him the remains of the wine no more than a mouthful."What is your name knight" as the knight sat down in the wicker chair. "Sir Lutor i am the ruler of a small village" As the knight took off his helmet Damian could see the scares. He would be handsome looking if it was not for the main scares on his face. "You been here since the start then" Damian said not at all surprised "If i remember correctly i seen you at the battle of Wayrest a heroic battle that was." Sir Lutor looked into the eyes of the king with a deadly look. "My king we lost nearly our whole army we are at one quarter strength and that was only dealing with the orcs and the rebel kingdoms dragons that is another thing" King Damian looked at him "I know we started this we did it for many reasons but that peace we so desire maybe shattered. I looked over some of the books in Markarth they say the last Dragonborn will come and the world will end or suffer into darkness. When the amulet of kings fails the empire will fall but from what i ask what do you think will make it fall. Either way we will do our duty as we have to."

    Mede Empire - T24
High Chancellor Jirolius Akkius, speaking for The Empire, is sending a letter to the thalmor via ambassador Gilgondorin.

"Recent movement of aldmeri armies have brought doubts into our minds. We believe it is just a misunderstanding, which your our partners in concordat can easily explain. However, if your armies move closer to our armies than they already are, some of our border generals might consider it as an act of war, what might be a spark that would start an unimaginable bloodshed. We urge on you to bring order back to your armies swiftly."

    Elsweyr Confederacy - T24
As the armies gathered at Fort Greenvale more and more generals started talking about a potential war...

Mane Ra'Jahirr, leader of Pelletine liked to walk through the streets of Fort Greenvale, seeing soldiers ready to fight everywhere. It was here where he saw Ra'Qanar, a well respected general from Anequina.

"Hmm, can you smell it?" Mane Ra'Jahirr said when he walked up to Ra'Qanar.
    "Smell what?" Ra'Qanar responded
"The smell of an upcoming war. the smell of blood, the dead and victory."
"You must be very confident in our capabilities, even though we have strong allies we are nowhere near the strongest and money wont win us this war."
"Very confident I am, we have suffered a defeat once too much already and I will not have that happen again, we shall move forward and conquer"
"I like your thought, but we are not at war yet, and if you ask me, lets keep it that way for now. With time comes our strength."

Mane Ra'Jahirr walked away annoyed, he always likes celebrating victory before the fight truly begun but was unhappy there was nobody for him to celebrate with.

Ra'Qanar walked up to his scouts who had just returned with their report.
"Riverhold?" He asked. "Safe!" was the response
    "Rimmen?" "Safe" once again.
"What about the Pelletine territory? How is our navy looking?" "Better than ever my lord, none that can oppose us!"
"Good, good.. any other news?" Ra'Qanar asked. "The same damn scout from the Empire is still there as he always has been"

"Alright then" Ra'Qanar concluded. "Let them come... let them come if they dare..."

    Mede Empire - T30
The large carved map of Tamriel in the 4th level of White-Gold Tower was flooded with the golden banners of The Dominion. Imperial red banners lines seemed to be too thin for holding the possible dominion invasion. Hammerell's borders seemed to be the most essential, as the concetration of both, red and golden banners, seemed to be the highest here. In far east were brown banners of Morrowind, concentrated in Black Marsh. Everyone was however watching Hammerfell. The atmosphere in the room was very tense. The War is on our doorsteps, High Chancellor Jirolius thought. Room was filled several high-ranking generals of Imperial Legion, including Chief General Indaril. There were also few other important members of the council. However, Jirolius made sure no to let in anyone from the treachorous group that stood behind emperor's assassination attend on this emergency meeting.

Till now the strategy was to avoid direct conflict with The Dominion no matter the price, but it seemed a new strategy was needed. General Rallus Cipius, backed by general-admiral Viator Ione and several other generals, was in favour of using the surprise moment and attack right now, before Dominion forces do that first.
"All our forces are in positions, we dont have resources to bring more legions or to actually maintain them for a longer period of time. We will never be more ready than we are right now! On the other hand, dominion forces are still getting used to Hammerfell desert and dont have a proper defensing positions yet. Furthermore, the longer we wait, the less redguard warriors will remain alive to help us. We cant tolerate audacious maneuvres of dominion forces on the borders anymore." Rallus proclaimed.
"Do you think the altmers are so stupid? Its just a theathre, they want us to attack first. You are also forgetting the nords. Once the new High King is elected on the moot, we might recieve more men from Skyrim to strenghten our lines. Is not that true, chancellor?" General Satameh, a son of famous redguard general Takar, pointed at Jirolius in a way that would be considered unbecoming in other occasions.
Jirolius shrugged and reluctantly responded, making sure not to tell them more than they need to know. "As most jarls died during the war, it seems there is very few candidates. Our birds suggest that jarl Elisif might be choosen as the next High Queen, as jarl Balrgruth supports her" For not a small price, Jirolius sighed and decide to tell them a little bit more. "Jarl Elisif has always been true follower of The Empire, she will stand with us. Furthermore, prince Trennus has betrothed here, as you surely heard. However, Skyrim is ruined. Most of their warriors are already standing beside us on the borders, including jarl Balgruth."
General-Admiral Viator Ione cursed and added his part. "The Fleet Command recommends the immediate attack. Due to brilliant maneuvres of my officers and in cooperation with breton fleets, we could strike the decisive blow to the dominion navies in Hammerfell and Elsweyr. Dominion fleets are powerful, we shouldnt let this chance go-"
Imperial Magus Cyronion interrupted him: "Lords, we have received an update on dominion movements." He said no more, only used a spell to change the magical projections on map. Jirolius gasped. Another army has arrived to the coast of Hammerfell, but that was not it. Dominion armies in west Hammerfell moved further north, being only half a day march far from the city of Wayrest. Furthermore, another dominion army was marching from Elinhir to Belkarth, dangerously close to imperial encampaments.
"Thats it. They are making the move. It might be too late already for us, but we still can have a chance if we attack dominion troops right now, Tamriel-wide." General Ralus shouted impatiently.
"They are only provoking us, trying to ge us abandon our strong defensive fortification" Chief General Indaril opposed.
"Sir, as we speak, dominion troops might be already attacking us all of Tamriel! Imperial Magus, how old is this update?" Rallus looked at Cyronion.
"It usually takes about an hour for the information to reach us from the mages. The update says the army close to Wayrest is forting themselves, they are not marching on Wayrest. At least not for now..." Cyronion said.
"As we speak, they dominin might be already preparing to strike us in all of Tamriel. And even if not, eventually one of our generals might decide to take necessary steps to protect his soldiers as he is authorised to. Chancellor, you have to give an order to attack!" Ralus continued.
Jirolius considered the options and started speaking: "We-..." He was suddenly interrupted by an unhuman loud roar. Someone opened a window, and the roar become even louder, followed by scared clamout of imperial citizens.
General Tullius spoke for the first time since the begining of the meeting. "It's a dragon." He said, with a pale face. Everyone runned to the window to see with their own eyes.
"Damn The Nine, why now?" Chief General Indaril cursed with a disbelief in his voice.
"We have to organize the defences...." Jirolius took an iniatiative, already descending by the stairs, followed be the others.

When they reached The Ruby Throne hall in the ground floor of White-Gold Tower, the huge door leading to The Green Emperor Way suddenly exploded in fire. The explosion that tumbled everyone inside to the ground. Jirolius was trying to catch his breath in the falling dust. Everyone turned their eyes full of fear to the hole that was in place of the doors. Suddenly, something was moving from the dust and fire. It was a warrior wearing an ancient armor, and holding a magical sword burning with energy. He was followed by a large dragon. He seemed to heading for The Ruby Throne, what put Jirolius and the others in his way. Palace Guard and Penitus Oculatus didnt hesitate and drew their weapons, slowly heading towards the warrior.
"Wait. Do not attack him!" Jirolius shouted at the guards and then nervously adressed the warrior "You there! Who are you and what do you want here?"
The mysterious warrior suddenly stopped, like if he hadnt taken notice of anyone in the room till now. He took of his helmet, revealing a face that has been through many fights.
"You?!" Tullius gasped. The Warrior turned his eyes to him, with a displeasure in his eyes, considering something for a while, then looked back at Jirolius and started speaking with a power in his voice: "I entered Sovngarde and vanquished Alduin The World-Eater to save Nirn. I defated Miraak in Solstheim and stopped the vampire plot to blot out the sun. Im The Dragonborn. Greybeards revealed to me I am destined to restore the worhip of The Nine and re-establish the rule of Dragonborn Empeors. A new name I shall use is
Uriel Septim. I come here to claim The Ruby Throne."
Jirolius was breathing heavily. He planned this day might come one day, as even the emperor was considering the option of naming the dragonborn his heir. If he didnt choose the wrong side in the war... Although this wasnt how he expected it to happen at all. If I support the dragonborn now, there will be no way back. Today will be the end of the White-Gold Concordat. If I do it... Commander Maro of Penitus Oculatus was staring him, waiting for a sign for what to do. Jirolius hesitated for a while, then nodded. The guards lowered their weapons. He could hear disagreeble murmuring of someone behind him.
"The Ruby Throne is yours to sit, my lord. There is no one more fit to rule Tamriel in this dark era than you. We are all at your service." Jirolius said and kneeled, hoping he just hasnt sentenced The Empire to destruction. Others soon followed, some of them more reluctantly than others...

Wow, this is an impressive start! I imagine that a hotseat game with several players will provide plenty of good ingredients to create an enjoyable AAR. This looks like an exciting campaign! I like your use of the perspectives of the different factions, in-game (or invented?) the writings such as the book by Quentin the Historian and images showing us everything from the campaign map to Imperial City to individual warriors. My only concerns are that the updates are coming so quickly that readers might struggle to keep up - and that your use of coloured text might be difficult to read for some people (I realise, of course, that you are using the different colours to emphasise that you are showing us the perspectives of different factions).

    Thnx.
There truly is enough ingredients, but problem is some players are not actually that active in RP, so there is almost nothing from some factions. I have a feeling you sound like if you thought I wrote it all by myself?. Every player has been Rping his own faction. Links to them and to the HS are in the first post (crediting them in this way is enough or should I make link to each used post? ). So to rep them you go there I suppose. The HS started a year ago, so I just posted all that happened so far. A turn usually takes about a week, so I ll probably make an update each week or two. So it will became pretty slow actually. Fortunately with The Second Great War there should be much more material each turn. I ve been pretty busy with funishg the TES patch few last months, so I was RPing less. But its now finished, so Im back in full force. Will try to use better colours I suppose.

I plan to bring to this forum one more much larger HS once I have time

I see - yes, that makes sense. The use of roleplaying by different writers is good, providing different writing styles as well as a variety of perspectives. Yes, crediting them in this way is enough, as they are credited clearly in the OP.

Maybe you could try darker colours (lighter colours can be harder to read, at least for some people/on some screens)? Alternatively, maybe you could simply use black text for all factions, since the headings clearly indicate which faction we are reading about?

I look forward to seeing how this campaign develops and to your planned AAR based on a much larger hotseat game in future.

    Hi, Jadli.

I admit I haven't read all of this yet. It's huge! It must have taken ages for you to collate all of this. I'm looking forward to finishing my reading, and to whatever updates might be posted in future.

(I do understand why Alwyn might have been unsure who wrote what, though. Your OP names the players of the hotseat game, and says they wrote the "Introductory roleplays", but you don't say anywhere that the players wrote other parts of the AAR. You have given the players credit, and it's all absolutely fine, but I can see why it might be confusing. When you write your next AAR, I wonder if it might be worth having a line in the OP saying that each player wrote all the text for his faction, just to avoid any potential confusion? I know it's obvious to you, because of how RP hotseat games work, but it's really rare here for an AAR to have more than one author. )

I'll be doing a similar styled HS AAR eventually (I agreed to do one but I'm rather busy) and I'll defiantly be taking the time to add links leading to every original RP post. Avoids confusion that way.

Improved OP a little bit, I think its pretty clear. Will chage the colours a little bit once I get to it

Huge? You lack imagination friend . Considering its 30 turns this is not that much (about a year). Wait untill I bring the other RP HS I talked about in few days. That one has about 3 times more players, so about 3 times more content. That will also require a little bit different aproach in organization...
