The Viking Age in Britain (VAB) is a historical focused mod with realistic changes to the basic game based on historical sources,
where all cultures are treated on an equal level. It includes extensive changes to the basic game to improve campaign and battle game-play.
The mod will give the player a more diverse gaming experience, while trying to increase the overall pleasure of playing Thrones of Britannia.
Neither is this the dawn from the east, nor is a dragon flying above, nor are the gables of this hall aflame. Nay, mortal enemies approach in ready armour. Ravens are calling, wolves are howling, spear clashes and shield answers
Last Alliance: TW is total conversion of Shogun 2. This mod base on stories from Tolkien's books, concretely on end of Second Age when Elves and Numenoreans fought against Sauron - many years before events from "The Hobbit" and "Lord of the Rings".

Revival of the RTW Ancillary Editor by Vercingetorix
The other day I was approached by a fellow modder if I knew of an alternative ancillary editor for RTW. Upon inquiring it appeared that the editor by Vercingetorix wasn't working anymore on the newer OS's.
The problem appeared to be missing DLL files and I was able to remedy the issue by adding those files to the download here and now the application appears to be working fine:
Bulat Steel Total War is a global modification of the European Middle Ages and the era of the Crusades with many scripts and innovations. Global modification created by modmakers from Russia and Ukraine. Improvement and deep study of all factions, the presence of innovations: scripts and beautiful things - all this rightly had the right to be called "Bulat Steel: Total War". It's not just a new global mod for the old-good Medieval II: Total War Kingdoms, it's a real masterpiece.
