I can't continue my campaign for some reason

I started a campaign and I was playing normally until,after ending a turn and letting the other factions play,the cursor became a spinning hourglass,and now I can't continue my campaign.I exited the mod and ran it again,but I still have that spinning hourglass.What to do?
