Makedonian Internal Names for Royal Family?

Hello there!

My faction leader Antigonos Antigonides (Makedonia's starting faction leader) and his son and heir Alkyoneus Antigonides have been getting a few annoying lunacy traits that I want to remove with console commands but they seem to have internal names that differ from their (external?) names. I've tried quite a few names with and and without spacing but none seem to work and have also looked through the game files without much luck. I would really appreciate some help on the matter

Also is there a way to view EBII/MTW2 save files? If so, how and what application should I use? When I tried opening them with Notepad++ I just get a jumbled mess of symbols, encrypted perhaps? Finally I'm sorry if this has already been posted somewhere, did a forum search but didn't find anything, and if this is the wrong subforum to be posting this. I'm a bit rusty both when it comes to these forums and Total war in general, so hopefully you'll cut me some slack if I messed up somehow.

remove_trait "Antigonos Antigonides" [traitname]

Or alternatively, move him out of a settlement, click on him and type: remove_trait this [traitname].

You need to browse the EDCT to find the correct trait names.

I've no idea about editing saves, sounds like a good way to corrupt them given the validation settings are enabled.

Looks like I had forgotten about the "" brackets around character names. The other method you mentioned seems useful as well. Thanks!
