Extracting campaign art MTWII

Sorry I have no idea as to what I would be searching for to answer my question, bascially I'm looking for the location of the campaign dialog art for MTWII such as what pops up to inform that your city is under siege and what not.

If someone could point me to the right thread on this it would be appreciated.

You should probably be posting / looking somewhere in the M2TW section not 'eras'.
Anyway if you mean the pictures which are different for each event and not the background or text, once you have patch and unpacked files you'll find them in:
Medieval II Total War\data\ui\northern_european\eventpics (etc.)
things like; settlement_besieged.tga for the city under siege.
