This may sound funny, but it usally catches the enemy off guard. You probably need aroud 15k for this to work. Here, subject to variation is the roster:
4 Camel Gunners
4 Grenadine Crossbows
3-4 Christian Guard
3-4 Grenadine Jinetes
2-3 Camel Spearmen
3-4 Arab Cavalry
Right now I'm still working out the tweaks. I basically send the Jinetes forward in circle mode, with the crossbows and gunners rushing up for support. Then with the light cav in a line, they rush forward against the enemy, then retreat. Then all the cav retreats, and if they follow the stop and reengage, and if they dont follow I reengane again. Then I charge with my heavy cavalry. Repeat until you run out of ammo. Now basically I skirmish with my cav as both sides probably took a lot of casualties. By this point, the enemy should be extremly disorganized and easy to defeat. The balance of power will usally lean to the enemy till the very end. I've won each time I've used this, but I cant say all of them were that good.
