I personally like Peter Ustinov's rendition, but I know he face criticism for presenting a caricature of the persona in the later movies.
While he wasn't in the original Murder on the Orient Express, it was much better than the remake. I watched the trailer (below) of the remake of Death on the Nile. The original is must see if you like detective/ murder mysteries. The original has Betty Davis, Maggie Smith, Angela Lansbury, and David Nivens. An all start cast that actually delivers.

Brannagh was already in the english adaption of the swedish "Commissar Wallander" weak, also in 'Murder in Orient Express'.

Now also a probably worse "Murder on the Nile" remake...

Ustinov is the best Poirot! Agatha Christie's figure had had always a funny part (Miss Marple...), so the critics is simply wrong.

For us the great divide lies in between the east and the west and, to more detail, northeast and southwest. I grew up in the deep southwest and never really had a friend who would go out to get a bottle of vodka from the store for a boys' night. Mostly just beer and occasionally some wine. In the east and up north, hard liquor with some beers is the name of the game, but no wine. That is not just my prejudice. I read an article that specified how little vodka is sold in the southwest compared to the eastern and northern parts of the country. When I started accumulating acquaintances from those vodka regions, I learned that it is true.
Np Sep. I love talking about my country (and more so about beer). The consumption of wine is also quite equal on both sides of the language border, again in my experience I don't have any numbers to back it up, but we love a good wine in Flanders as well as in Wallonia, though beer is the main beverage. It's a remnant of the Burgundian influence on Belgium. As long as it's quality food and quality drink we'll want it.

My knowledge of Finnish culture is zero so don't feel guilty for not knowing anything about Belgian culture. The only thing I know about Finland is the Winter War and Simo Häyhä, the White Death, and of course saunas. It's on my list to visit Finland one day and enjoy its beautiful nature. Perhaps go dog-sleighing in Lapland.

The funny thing is we run more smoothly without a government than with one. I don't think we ever had one 'proper' government tbh. I'll not go any further on this because then we'll have to go into politics and I hate politics. It just ruins my day. We don't talk about Leo II anymore, he's been cancelled some time ago.

Children, children. Let us all not sink each others' countries into the ocean. We do not want to end up all typing on a boat here.

Leffe Rouge is probably the best one of all the Leffe's (I find Leffe blond and Leffe Double (brown) to be rather flat of taste). They still make Leffe Rouge so it might be an export issue.
