    I think more specifically Ningen means "mortal" depending on the context. Seems like a very broad term.

    The company I'm working for is so cost-efficient. 1,5 hours in and I've worked for about 15 minutes now and I'm done for the next few hours. Work for 15 minutes, get paid 4 hours.

    I'm in the flexpool of a paper mill so if they need some extra manpower on a shift they can call on me. At the moment on the coating department, have to empty some bags of coating material into a giant mixer and then wait for the next round which can anywhere between half an hour and several hours. They seem to have cut back a bit at least though, the previous shifts they called up 2 guys.

    I'm working like 30 hours a week at Dunkin Donuts while also going to college. The franchise owners and all the other employees are from Bangladesh/Pakistan. I'm the token white boy.

    Apparently the one and only Jeff Goldblum is handing out free sausages to the public in the city right now. But it's raining and I'm sad I didn't know about this when I actually was around there before.

    Could be worse. You could be using php or lisp.

    Androids are cool (the phone and the robot kind) although I currently have a Windows phone and it is quite terrible.

    I am. So far I've done modules on Java, HTML/CSS, C, PHP, Javascript, SQL. C was probably the hardest, PHP is just .

    In that case if anybody mentions functional programming to you stay away from Lisp. Haskel is approachable, Lisp is just cancer. Row upon row of (((((())))))))))((()()(()((((((((((() and if you forget one ) out of 15 or 20 you don't get a compilation error, it just crashes to desktop with no error message. Granted Lisp pays a lot more than any language out there, but you really need a special kind of ocd to even write clean code in it.

    Also, C# and C++ will be...fun.

    C# doesn't look that bad, it looks fairly Java-like in it's syntax.

    C# is java designed by Microsoft. This should tell you everything you need to know.

    It's far more in depth and professional than java but things you could do in java in one line of code require several lines in C#.

    Ahah, as if Java needed to be more verbose than it already is.
