It may just be a cultural difference but I don't consider the wasps being left in the "best part". By special gift I assume you mean to someone you hate and want to watch drink wasps from a bottle? How expensive would you say one of those pictured bottles costs?

I have no idea. I've never been interested in buying them. But when some Koreans made me drink it, they told me it was expensive in order to lessen my feeling of disgust.

I'm going to start getting my friends wasp-liquor for their Birthdays so they have to drink it in front of me out of guilt.

I just started a subreddit on uncanny horror (generally all those crazy german romanticists and 19th century french). https://www.reddit.com/r/UncannyHorror/

Sure that's great and all, but wheres the subreddit for people who are fans of canny horror? Where's the subreddit for us, huh? I feel persecuted.

You are being persecuted. Vent out your frustration with pitchforks and torches!

Isn't canny horror an oxymoron? What would be an example of it?

Canny horror is the kind of horror you feel when you realize you've left your kid in the car on a hot summer day and now it's probably too late, you've just killed your child. Canny horror is the everyday mundane horror of society, the TRUE horror that is the grout that holds the bathroom floor of society together.

Thats not very horrifying though. I think its more where you're not sure whether you'll make it to the bathroom in time, or if you're going to in your pants at work.

Hey lads, can we please change arguments here? I don't think that talking about dead children or in your pants is something that suits the TD, or TWC at large

This is like the epitome of the TD, what are you talking about? All it needs is a conversation about bread, maybe the mundane horror of discovering the final loaf of bread is mouldy, and this conversation would be perfected.

That still sounds uncanny to me. Maybe it's because I'm German. It is unheimlich.

Happened to me just this morning. I had the choice of going out for bread at 7 am or just cutting out the mouldy bit and yoloing it. Yolo.

As for me, I'm about to spend four hours in a train, on unreliable, open wi-fi (so no connecting to some really fun stuff), while I forgot to pack both mouse to play some games I have installed, and micro-SD card with music and movies.

    Oh, the horror of boredom.....

There is nothing more classically Thema Devia then a completely inane conversation quickly drifting into questionable territory. That being said I've been wondering if bread is able to be racist?
TWC won't be dead until the last member breathes their last. We've got a lot of work ahead of us boys.

Yes I do. Korea is great until it's not. There are many things to like, such as the nightlife. But there are also many things to dislike, especially the pollution and useless formalities.
