I've actually enjoyed Paris once. It was years ago. The 15th of August was on Thursday that year. So, between those who were on holidays and whose who took a long week-end, the city was absolutly desert. Try to imagine a 4 lines street with 2 or 3 cars only

The cars probably all got stuck on that intersection with no entry signs in every direction, including the one you come from, so they couldn't drive forward, nor turn left, nor turn right, nor turn back.
