You were spared the Great Betrayal and Downfall then. I quite liked it (read the books before the tv-series) and in the process my heart was shattered. I think I will never love (another series) again.

My issue isn't that I want to stop, it's that I find fewer and fewer of them interesting. I don't need microtransactions and all that garbage, I need soul in them instead. And there are so many trends I've already skipped out on. I might be medium tier age here, but I still kinda miss Medieval 2.
Then also the professional vs recreational time issue. If you spend your entire day at the PC, how much relaxation do you really get out of spending free time at the PC as well? Your parents didn't watch TV at work all day (I assume - cuz compared to that PC is healthier)
