You know, in comparison to school, I quite like the fact that work allows me freedom on weekends and in the evenings, but dear God, it's draining to clock in and out every five days a week for months on end. I've had like 12 days of holiday leave for the past two years. If any kids are reading this thread, make the most of your frequent long holidays. Money and independence is nice, but it's all pretty much downhill after uni.

Yeah, in like Italy. Italy doesn't count because people don't expect you to work more than 1-2h per week per job, and your wine probably solves all marriage/family problems for you.

I'm an engineer and a winemaker too, but you don't hear me brag about it (mostly because I'm very bad at both).

I'm 3 weeks into 4 months of uni holidays until my final year starts, and I'm one step away from just crawling up the walls in boredom and an absolute lack of anything to do to fill my time.
Besides post all day with all of these poor creatures who live in the TD.

Inkie you're dead right, you don't realise how little time you have until you've got a real job working 8:30-5:00 5 days a week. I have to go to the gym during my lunch because i lack the willpower to go to the gym after work.

Just remember that this is probably going to be the last real summer holiday of your life.

Next year I should get about 2 and a half months, but believe me, I know. All my mates are either too busy to do anything, or just make it too difficult to try to organise anything.
All I've been able to think of for stuff to do is
- Learn to drive
- Exercise more
- Learn new skills, and read non-fiction books like history
- Keep on bugging friends to do stuff

I've lost interest in playing on the computer or amusing you poor deluded creatures since that just feels like a way of eating up time, rather than actually accomplishing real things.
