Django Unchained is funnier or sadder? In any case I thought it was the only good movie Quentin Tarantino ever made.

I really wish Assassins' Creed: Valhalla would have included some simulated aurora. Right now the in-game aurora is not changing it's position or moving at all, which at least for me, really drops the immersion of their enchantment.

Re-watched it last night.. great movie IMO, definitely my preferred from Tarantino, together with Inglourious Basterds .. it's both honestly, the part with Don Johnson made me my pants with laughing, saddest moment was the death of Schultz.. Waltz is an awesome actor, period.
You see? 15 years ago we would have been happy to actually have a sky on a video game and now we complain for the aurora not moving!!!

be comforted, they will be pretty useless in any case I've got 2 degrees myself but they were of no use when looking for job, though of course business is a different word from the academic/administrative one

But more importantly I thought Inglourious Basterds was really bad. Not at all like what was advertised in the trailer. The main issue is just that it was really slow and boring. Which appears to be the staple for Tarentino films. Reservoire Dogs and Basterds literally put me to sleep. His constant "homage" is really tiresome, this guy rips off absolutely everything. Kill Bill for example, one of his more tolerable films but which has some really dumb sword play (not dumb as in action dumb, but really stupid rather), but which is constantly making references to better films like Shogun Assassin. Inglourious Basterds which is not actually a war movie, despite what some nerds might have claimed, that also makes "homage". Django Unchained which copied its entire soundtrack from several movies (Django, His Name Was King, Two Mules for Sister Sarah, etc), and even the characters aren't original, obviously being references to the 1966 Django and the 1971 Lo chiamavano King. Now I am contemplating if I should watch Hateful Eight to confirm my bias.
Hateful Eight is BORING.
although, you might be able to find 5 minutes of enjoyable content in the hours long movie.
yes Tarantino definitely sources a lot from Italian movies, especially 70s.. I believe that to like Tarantino one needs to get what his movies aim at: they don't tell great stories, they don't want to teach you a lesson, they are just narrative moments filling the gaps between one slaughter and the next one
edit: one example.. at the end of Inglourious Basterds when the two dudes keep machinegunning Hitler and Goebbles.. I mean that scene is obviously a non sense (AFAIK not all the versions has it, Italian one has), they keep shooting at him for like 2 minutes, everybody can see that it's a fake body made with something like clay or who knows, there's not even blood, but dude, it's BLOODY SATISFYING to see his body shaking under the stream of bullets.
I believe Tarantino himself is like a bad child, most of his creations have a childish/juvenile character, with sprouts of evilness and pure gore

If you don't enjoy Hateful 8 or Django I seriously have to question the legitimacy of your opinions.

Opinions can be legitimate? Damn. Never knew that
All opinions are legitimate, but some are more legitimate than others.

I loved hateful 8. Django was meh. Probably because I was too hyped to see it, and it was too much of the same as Inglorious basterds. Or maybe I just wasn't in the vibe when I watched it
Django was at least entertaining though. Reservoir Dogs and Inglorious Basterds were so goddamned boring. Tarentino's use of blood splatter makes no sense to me. In Kill Bill he seems to focus more on a guy's head being chopped off, or arm and so on, rather than the action itself. How is that entertaining?
Chopping head off is entertaining. I've done it numerous times in AC Origins.
