Wow, just got called ugly on Reddit with no redeeming qualities face wise. Posted on a sub Reddit where people post their photos and ask for opinions and I posted there and got burned good. Geez, don’t need to lie but roasting me, come on man! ?

No, it was one of those Am I ugly ones . No cinnamon roasted cashews for them that’s all I know .

I guarantee you 90% of "ugly" people can increase their appearance several fold with a proper haircut, appropriate facial hair (or lack thereof), appropriate glasses, good posture, fitness, properly fitted clothes and most importantly confidence. Unless you're covered head to toe in 3rd degree burns or missing your nose and lips completely there's nothing stopping an "ugly" person from being at the very least a good bit above average.

That’s my idea. I think what got me was, you want to call me ugly that’s fine, but don’t say I’m generically ugly and nothing I can do can change that and I’m hopeless in terms of getting married. Hey, my brother was 50 pounds overweight and ate at buffets like a champ when he met my sister in law, got married and lost quite a bit of weight. So it’s not like I can’t bulk up and make myself look good.

There's a few things most of us should learn not to ask other people (especially random strangers) about our appearance, that sort of thing asking for general opinions is #1, #2 = "does my bum look big in this?" #3 = "can you guess how old I am?"

Good advice especially #3. I still see people asking especially women how old they are, I’m always like .

So me being bummed I posted in another sub Reddit around the same time and everyone was much nicer so all’s good I guess
