A fine beer. Chimay is my favorite beer of all, nit just Belgian.
When I lived in Dubai, we lived near a hotel that had a Belgian cafe with all sorts of Belgian beers. Needless to say, my favorite place to go.

I feel your pain. A year or two ago the stores in my region stopped selling my favourite beer, Tempelier (translation: Templar) and I can't find it anywhere anymore.

That sounds like a challenge to me, but as a newb and a mere mortal facing a mighty site administrator holding Berlusconian power over his people, I am quietly going to step down.

Have you tried ordering online? I know at least German Amazon has sold a bunch of German beers (for ridiculously low prices too, at least in comparison to what you'd pay for a similar beer in Finland), you might have some luck with Belgians as well!

I have looked at it when I began the Tempelier drought but it was often double the price of what I used to pay for it in the store. It's also very annoying that I can't get my own nation's beer for a decent price in my own country. I'm also a bit of a dinosaur in that I don't order that very much online though I fear I'll have to change my ways sooner rather than later

Waterworld was an interesting movie as long as you do not think of the science. Kevin Costner has got to be te worse "action" hero ever. He was horrible in Robin Hood, but he was better in this one. His best movies, IMO, is Bull Durham and The Postman. Those roles matches his "style."

I found him very good in 'A perfect world' or 'JFK' too.

But to be fair many movies of the 80/90, where scientific nonsense like 'Armageddon', stupid-waving the flag, patriotic nonsense.^^

Waterworld was exciting and funny (Dennis Hopper remarks^^) and hints to rl happenings (Exxon Valdez, Holy Joe^^), absolutely my taste.

The masks you've been refusing to wear since the start of the pandemic?

Or the vaccine you've repeatedly said you'd refuse to take?

    Hopper is awesome!

This him in River's Edge, an interesting story with a lot of familiar faces.

I would share the trailer, but it has nudity and adult situation.

People are more willing to believe in none sense if believing them will allow them to not be inconvenient in any way.

In China, there was ne discovered case in Dogguan. Since we have students from Dogguan, we went online and required everyone to be tested before being allowed back on campus. It happened Wednesday night. By Monday we were all back on campus. During this time, we went online and worse masks on campus. Visitors always required to wear a mask at all times. The downer is that we were just stating to have cross campus activities like sports and MUN. All that has ended (again!).

the lesson we all should learn from the recent pandemic is

people don't give a crap about being fair and civil, they just put their privileges before of anything else.. they don't care about being part of a society, they are individualist to the extreme, democracy suits them as long as it complies with their standards and needs, but they will oppose it if it doesn't.. I think this is called anarchy, isn't it?

ps I won't be back to discuss this in less then a year minimum, so please ignore this rant
