I like to read articles on wikipedia where a south Asian country is mentioned, the writing shifts tone.
There is something so colorful about the writing, using lots of words like "splendid" and novel vocabulary.

The ones about China can seem like those awkward translations of Confucious or Laozi into English.

Then I get to articles about eastern Europe or Caucasions (the region) and the wording is like:
"Building here was built XXXX, and in summer gets visitors"

Gee, where are the respective editors from?

You should see the articles about North Korea. But then again, even professional scholars talk about North Korea in similar ways.

The fact that they keep claiming to have nukes, when everyone else would deny it, is evidence that North Korea doesn't have nukes.

Why isn't it illegal for universities to have class at 9am? It feels like cruel and unusual torture. I'm sure Kimmy Jong doesn't have to get to uni by 9

That just means you're a sucker for registering for classes that early. My first semester I didn't have a single class before 11am. Although granted I had to stay a couple hours later than usual I think it ended up being worth it for the extra sleep. If you can fit it into your schedule and register for classes early enough it can really help you with your sleep schedule if you have the tendency to stay up too late.

Nah the bastards cancelled the 10:30 class and merged it with the 9am class because only like 6 people were enrolled in the 10:30 class. Feels bad man

The biggest change is way less contact hours (at my uni and doing my course, I'm only at uni 4 to 8 hours a week compared to 9am-3pm every day. If I went to every lecture in person it'd be double, but I just watch em online at home)
