    If you restrict yourself to the blue marked leader\heir battle model then only an entry in the modeldb is required.

    Multiple strat models is achieved via level traits, see here. This tut also addresses the battle model issue. Both features have been used extensively in my Rise of three Kingdoms mod (default model plus 5 variants in the pic below)

    Hi, I have been playing Total Vanilla Beyond and like it very much overall.

    I do have a few bugs and weird things happen:
    • The game takes too long to load a new campaign or a saved file (I have gotten used to it but I wonder why this happens)
    • Assassins are too powerful, usually get around 88-95% change on merchants that are 4-5 ( I love this as I can control the market, but feels a bit like cheating)
    • Castles grow too fast , in my current game it is 1188 and I already have a Citadel, I feel that’s a bit too fast. (can I change this manually)
    • Money seems to be raking up too fast as well.

    I’m currently downloading 1.5 , are saves compatible?

    I just moved your post to the 1.0 thread.

    To answer your questions:
    -The loading times are related to a modding bug. It is resolved in Version 1.5
    -I have not touched anything relating to chances of assassination, and I remember that this was also the case in the original game
    -This is something I haven't touched too. But remember, the growth rates depends on many factors (Fertility Level of the region, farming level, characters present,...). If you have a general with high chivalry you can get insane growth rates up to 7 or more percent. You could change this manually by editing the fertility level in the descr_strat.txt (if I remember correctly), and the farming building boni in the EDB, how to change the growth bonus by chivalry, I don't know.
    I did not change something growth related, with the exception of a few unique buildings like the hanseatic league (guild), as far as i remember.
    -Yeah, money is always a problem in TW games, in 1.5 i reduced the free upkeep slots to counter this a bit and lowered some boni, so it has overall a better balance. But if you grow big enough you will rake up money faster than you can spend it. It's part of the long term balancing and may be adressed further in future releases.

    -No, saves are not compatible. Read the important notice at the top of the release notes. Treat it like a new mod.
