This is kind of hard question...
I can tell you what is not historical for sure:

    - The spartan royal guard was definitely gone by the game starting date, spartans were still around but much lesser in both numbers and skills...

    - sacred bands are also probably historically out of date, especially the greek ones

    - thureophoroi and thorakitai are probably less powerful than their historical counterparts, they were among the best troops hellenistic states could field not counting heavy phalanx or hietaroi/cataphracts

    - parthian companions are quite a fictional unit

    - most new thracian units are probably more heavily armed than historically

    - many ptolemaic units are not quite historical although better than what you find in vanilla

    - there might be a few more fictional or fantasy units but not so bad as vanilla, the rest is pretty much historical with some stretches and educated guesses...

Thank you, that has helped alot. I guess adding the what ifs, for greek and other factions wuld make it more interesting than the historical.
And to add better balanced battles.

    Thanks for hearing me.
And i do understand its going to be a slow road for XGM for awhile.

Some factions still have inaccurate colors, especialy the Ptolemies and the Parthians.

The Parthians still have an army of purple-wearers. Purple was extremely expensive at the time and only worn by royalty and the wealthy, not the army.

The Ptolemies' army's colors are more obvious with their gilded equipment.
