CA had lately Twitch stream about King's Shilling Patch - Dev Commentary, which went little undetected among other things but...if true, it actualy revealed lot stuff.

and to skip all that..tl dr:

    • Thanqol not coming before game 3. 100% confirmed not coming game 2, the look on their faces said please stop asking.

    • CA is actively looking into updating all races so as too leave them on an even playing field when TWW2 finishes. This can include new lords, units, or mechanics.

    • CA is well aware of the Order faction power imbalance. One designer is primarily working balance when it comes to Order vs Undead vs Chaos vs Destruction.

    • CA said don't worry about Grimgor he will soon be Da Best.

    • CA wants to look at adding more battle terrain effects such as shrines, spooky forest, or arcane fulcrums. The problem is getting the AI to recognize how to use these whether it be avoiding hostile terrain or utilizing beneficial terrain.

    • CA said they will consider adding special buildings on Albion for Norsca. I recommended one in the Citadel of Lead for a Belakor reference and the swamp place for Famir and they told someone to write it down.

    • CA said Toddy will have his day.

    • Undecided on if Duels will be a thing in TW3.

    • Sieges will be overhauled for game 3.

    • Thinking about moving Grombrindal

    • More unique skills for game 1 lords and reworking game 1 blue line skills

    • Mention that Mousillon would be a cool campaign to do

A great reply from Grace to the complaints about the perceived lack of communication regarding Warhammer. It demolishes some of the misconceptions the reddit mob had created to justify the seemingly inexplicable (after the naval battles, it must be the second time Games Workshop is blamed as a scapegoat for something it was totally innocent of) and illustrates how the marketing department operates inside a large company. It shows that their policy largely depends on how well or badly each product is received (a useful lesson for customer complacency, perhaps?) and is off course shaped according to the reasoning of the higher-ups not the employees, who directly communicate with the fandom. It is determined by its estimated impact on public relations and hype announcement not by how frankly and roughly worded complaints of certain forums may have alienated Creative Assembly.

I find it insane how people can look at CA's communication with their fans, and say it's "lacking". Have these people never had jobs with a boss and rules to follow?

I added some estimation for Troy in Troy section..
    https://www.twcenter.net/forums/show...1#post15897884

But I think info might be interesting even for Wh people. So far we were expecting Troy in Summer/September. However original release date was almost end of year and we all know how 3K was delayed. And right now there is whole Covid situation is still not back to normal so....September/November sounds valid now. But this might have implication for Wh3 as well. Big TWs are being hyped and teased for almost a year. And usually CA starts with teasing after dropping previous title..which means that our early expectation to see Wh3 at March/May might actually be shifted to May/September 2021 ...that could be even original CA plan. What do you think guys?

(plus that is like another DLC for Wh2... )

It is April and it looks like news about next Wh2 DLC are going to be out in May (CA comfirmed delay) that is putting release date at best at June. Which in turn would mean Troy at earliest at September but that could be again easily fall back to November as of current situation...

But then we got one comment from Grace which went little undetected from my side Comment is from 23.3.2020 and from that point point situation in Europe is not back in normal yet..

At the backend of november seems like a reasonable date, september would be too early I reckon, as everything everywhere is being pushed back due to the current situation.

Well it is definitely increasing chance for another DLC...that´s my main bonus. I hope that there will be 4 more DLCs for Wh2 counting the very next one (HE/Greenskins - June) and some pre-order for Wh3 (Kislev,Araby...pick your favourite) and two more DLC in between..like October 2020 + April 2021. One to update WE and one for Beastmen. Let´s say Beastmen vs clan Moulder and WE Ariel vs Vampires as Neferata, my quess is one FLC will be dwarf LL and second no idea and same no idea what FLC will be for pre-order

They haven't really answered all that many questions so far, I'd assumed one of the reasons of allowing people to ask questions before the start of the AMA was so they could prepare answers beforehand. I can understand it a bit, there are people who write entire bibles or pose 21 questions in that thread so it isn't that easy to go through.

    FLC chart got update!

    -New Old World update
    -New Mount
    -New LL

this is probably geared towards next DLC ....so HE/Greenskins. My quessing is about Greenskins getting update, Griffin option for HE lords? and new LL like Imrik?

Aaaand important small thing, the mount seems to be obtainable via TW Access, which is weird...that is usually for promo things. I smell something independent...maybe Skulls for the Skull throne Event?

Quite a few people on reddit are guessing a griffon mount. I'd say a griffon mount is more likely to just be part of the DLC, they're already in game as a mount option for others and are make for a pretty dissapointing flc. Most High Elves have dragon mounts anyway, a griffon won't add much there.

Well originally the DLC news were suppose to be in April/May..basically start of May..that would put DLC at middle of May maybe?
Now the news are supposed to be out in May..let´s say around middle of month, that would put DLC at the end of May +/-

Skulls for Skull throne event so far was
    2017 - July -> Krell
    2018 - June (started 31. May) -> Bone Giant
2019 - May (started like 17. May) -> Amethyst Wizard

This Mount via TW Access might be hint that DLC and Skull event will be online at the same time...

EDIT: saw a lot ideas in two days...Imperial Dragon for Empire, Troglodon for Lizardmen or even Thunder Lizard , Shield bearers for Dwarfs or Great Stag for WE or Coven Throne for Vampires (though Lahmians use that often so once we see Neferata..) Great Pox Rat or Broodhorror for Skaven...

One interesting idea was. CA sometimes is making land changes ahead of adding new content. With last DLC we got part of Darklands so in theory, that could hint for possible Vampire faction? LL? Neferata or other? But FLC LL won´t be Vampire for free but if the DLC after that is featuring Vampires...Ariel vs Neferata? Okey, too much thinking...

    Somewhat side news:
    https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2...-of-sigmar-rts
We all know about Creative Assembly's wonderful Total War: Warhammer strategy games. Now, Frontier Developments has quietly announced it's making a Warhammer Age of Sigmar real-time strategy game.

Buried within the investor relations portion of its website is a note that the Cambridge-based maker of Elite: Dangerous, Planet Coaster, Planet Zoo and Jurassic World Evolution has signed an intellectual property licence with Games Workshop to develop and publish an RTS for PC, consoles and streaming platforms for release in the financial year 2023 (the year ending 31st May 2023). This game is based on the popular fantasy tabletop Warhammer, specifically the popular Age of Sigmar era.
    reference probably to this:
    https://otp.tools.investis.com/clien...newsid=1388951

2023 is around end of DLCs for Wh3 so this is somewhat interesting to see. In my eyes this probably lowering chances to see TW:AoS after Wh3. RTS is not turn-based game and GW is handing licences to many parties, still ..what do you think?

And one more "story" for today...
    https://forums.totalwar.com/discussi...ion-out#latest

LegendofTotalWar got question on stream and it seems the response is pretty much comfirmation that they already have Press version of DLC, including Greenskin update but under NDA
