I actually like the CA´s approach here. They will overhaul Beastmen, Empire probably even Vampires sooner or later. With still 6 unknown DLC (well technically Norsca,30th RoR will hit us with Corne and Queen but that´s leaving second Lord Pack and three more DLCs) there should be a lot opportunities to do so. :-)
And Sartosa could be really another hint for Southern Realms. It is expanding Tilea province to 3 regions (Miragliano + Luccini). Miragliano being 10 building slot, major capital settlement without playable faction....
Sartosa has been added to the Mortal Empires campaign
Nagarythe has been moved to Naggaroth
Come on CA! They changed it. I was searching text multiple times for Sartosa,Bone giant and others and i´m 197,5% sure Sartosa was not there. I don´t play, that´s not fair!!
You are probably right Welsh We might see a few suprises here and there!
Norsca, 30th RoR, Bone Giants, everything is accounted for and working (after some initial issues from Valve side). Only Monstrous Secret for DE is still mystery and should be added later...
According to new blogpost, next DLC will be campaign pack.
Question is, if we will see again 4 LLs or just two with minicampaign. According to older CA´s statement before TK, they opted to have 4 LLs instead of minicampaign but were not sure if it is one time things for TK or all future campaign packs as well. (i can dig up the blogpost if neccessary) With some lately hints we will probably see Southern Realms (Estalia/Tilea/Border Princes? + Dog of War/Mercenaries/New World Colonies)with 4 LLs or in theory Araby with just 2 LLs. Araby has advantage of being nicely present in both Vortex and ME campaign map while it is again another faction in Southlands. Dogs of War have problem with Vortex but with addition of Sartosa to ME, New World Colonies and such, it could easily work. Plus Miragliano is only 10 slot major capitol city with no ties to any playable faction. :-) We will see..
The "campaign" pack is somewhat a misleading name, since it doesn't add a campaign... Apparently, it means "add a race that didn't exist to the campaign".
So for me it's more a "race pack", and the so called "race pack" are actually faction pack. Queen and Crone didn't add new race, but three new playable factions.
Yeah, it is confusing. Grace was explaining it yesterday that they distinguish two types of DLC: Lord packs and Campaign packs..which is basically race pack because both Norsca and Chaos are considered to be also campaign packs

Queen and Crone was a Lord Pack.
And I agree, CA calling Tomb Kings a Campaign Pack is confusing.

Norsca and Chaos are Race Packs, not Campaign Packs.
As I understand it the paid DLC goes:
Warhammer 1:
Lord Packs: The Grim and the Grave, The King and the Warlord
Race Packs: Chaos Warriors, Norsca
Campaign Packs (old-style with mini-campaign): Call of the Beastmen, Realm of the Wood Elves
Warhammer 2:
Lord Packs: The Queen & The Crone
Race Packs: None so far. (But that doesn't necessarily mean none planned.)
Campaign Packs (new-style without mini-campaign): Rise of the Tomb Kings, Unknown Second WH2 Campaign Pack (as stated in the latest What the Teams Are Working On.)
I maybe read something wrong yesterday, some comments from Grace sounded like race/campaign pack are one thing for them.. nevermind.
EDIT: looks like you were completely right. They have just two types of DLC for WH2 - campaign pack/lord pack,...Race packs were only for WH1 :-) https://www.reddit.com/r/totalwar/co...text=8&depth=9
Rebalanced Crone Hellebron’s Cursed Blade ability by removing the phase recharge and changing the phase to deal up to 144 to a single target when the phase is applied. The phase can be reapplied every ten seconds.
Rogue armies will now spawn correctly in campaigns.
Bone Giant has had the undead trait removed and the construct trait added as well as +10 Leadership.
.....

R2 DLC will be announced shortly but will take some time.
WH2 Campaign pack they are working on it and will also take some time.
So..next one is probably ToB. It should get some DLCs as well..

I've read what Grace said a few times now, and the more I think about it, the more I think she meant that they've only released Campaign Packs (Tomb Kings,) and Lord Packs (Queen and Crone) so far for Warhammer 2. That doesn't preclude releasing Race Packs for it at some point. Just they haven't yet, which is why she's being cagey about Race Packs not being mentioned in association with Warhammer 2.
