    I don't know what seems to be the problem . I've tested it and it works fine, turn 28 without CTD. Perhaps our main Medieval II are changed by other mods, I really don't know.

    I always get that turn 28 CTD apart from that the mod is running fine, just can't get past turn 28 for some reason. playing as Legions of c. using the Steam Version

    Great initiative @Boyar of Translavia, I'm glad someone is still giving some love to Thera. I've been modding my own version for the past year as well, sadly the models db file has kept me from fullfilling my whole plans. Gotta try your version eventually.

    start posting system logs.

    It would be my immediate guess that from your list of changes that the crashes will be ancillary based or trait based as those can be sneaky.

    It's not map based or Desr_unit /Desc_ buildings based or strat based because people can get into the game. I don't think you have added any scripts? (even though i always add financial scripts :3)

    so, to everyone i would suggest you delete map.rwm and if it still crashes, start posting your system logs as little attachments.
    to the mod developer, just ctrl + f the file and search for error and see what is going wrong.

    I haven't had a chance to play the sub_mod yet but those are the basic bugfixing routes to take.

    the other weird thing might be graphics based, if people put their graphics to medium, it might for some reason work (i saw this bug at europa barbarorum for a bit, don't ask me why but some computers do weird things).

    anyway, good luck out there.

    it looks like the ancillaries are actually firing correctly.
    couple of missing portraits but nothing too ridiculous.

    I have a day off work so i'll take a look at it myself tonight, but no promises as i had nothing to do with this :3

    ok, i have 0 ctds 20 turns into the game.

    when exactly are you experiencing crashes? is it during load times? battles?

    and as far as my opinion of the mod goes - i really like the new factions, i think they are really flavourful and interesting. I don't like the positioning of some of them because it really stifles the expansion of other factions or gives them 0 room to expand.
    I know you did it because of complaints here but i really hate the amount of upkeep slots you have, i'm in the school of thought that thinks you should have 0 upkeep slots, or at the very least few because it is easily abused by the player and the AI doesn't use it. The economy in generally is poorly balanced but that isn't your fault, thera was always like that and these are just changes i am going to make in my personal version of the game. Also, i recommend you steal the AI from Europa europa barbarorum as it is pretty damn amazing.

    I get crashes early in the game between turns 1-3. And the happiness usually a soon as I hit the enter button and I keep going back to the game and it just won't let me get past it it just crashes and crashes

    well ok, just an instant ctd on end turn?
    are you using unpacked versions of the game?

    there are definitely ancillary issues but i don't think that's the issue.

    i'm not getting any crashes and im using the steam edition. seems like you two are using the disc version.
    if Maeglin is also using the disc version then im thinking it is more than a coincidence.

    i can try and find a fix, but i guess what we really want is the mod host to come back.

    Sorry I'm not that knowledgeable about this kind of stuff is there really a difference between the disc version and the steam version?
