Rome in the new DeI

Yeah, hard time early on. Whenever I spotted an oportunity to rush Rome cities or armies I did it but at the cost of risking a hell of a lot in mainland Greece leaving it completely alone. Fortunately for me, the factions over there went into war quickly and they didn't payed attention to my Apolonia settlement. lol

But Macedon was much harder. I had wars with Sparta and Athens almost immediately, then some Thracians joined. I could not conquer any of them, because of the big garrisons, and the AI supported each other really clever. And if Rome conqueres Apollonia, it declares war, then it's over anyway. I live in fear of the coming Macedon campaign.

Yeah I experienced that when I try Makedones but I managed to survive that early stage. Quite hard/slow path I must say but still!

I'm doing a MP campaign with a buddy as Rome and me as Macedon. Let's just say he's doing a lot better than I am .. LOL
