For example if i build a Forum Boarium +40% livestock (agriculture), does that boost my Latifundium 135 wealth from Farming (agriculture)?
I assume everything with (agriculture) is actually one and the same resource and boost eachother?

No, they're separate bonuses. If it just says Agriculture it usually applies to both subsets, but if it specifies one then it doesn't apply to the other.
Like how Shipwrights boost Maritime Commerce but not Local Commerce.
Oh my god no... I have based large parts of my economy on the assumption that they did boost eachother in that way.
This will be very expensive to reverse & change...
Thank you for the reply though, better late than never i suppose
Edit: Another thing i thought about, the Roman Town (Grain) has +80% Farming (agriculture). But to ignore that and still build Industrialized Pastures + Slaughterhouse and you will still be making more money than from Winter Preserves & Granary Complex, can someone explain the logic in that, because i do not see it.
Edit2: I have another thing i do not understand, in Narbo it says: Roman Town (Olive Oil) +7% agriculture (all regions), what does that mean? Because if i build for example a Forum Boarum in Massilia it says +40% wealth from Livestock (agriculture). Now i assume that 40% has to apply both to Massilia, Narbo & Tolosa, anything else would be insane.
But it does not say (all regions).
So my question is, why does it say (all regions) when so many other buildings has the same all region effect (like Forum Boarum) but without specifically saying so?
Where is Dresden when you need him![]()

Dunno whats so hard to understand hereIf it says (all regions) the bonus is applied everywhere. If it doesn't say so then it's just in that particular province. The olive oil town like all other resource towns have some boni which take effect globally.
This was made (also by CA) to make those resources more meaningful.
By the way, on the initial question, it's the same with industry... there's mining and manufacturing. And it's been like this for ages now, since EE if I'm not mistaken.
Edit: I think your problem is differentiating between "province" and "region".![]()

Livestock was and still is more profitable than any kind of traditional agriculture - it is however also more resource heavy and will yield much less.
So even mitchmatching bonuses, livestock should still be the most profitable route.
If the farming bonus is not specified to agriculture or livestock it applies the bonus to both right?
It's supposed to, though I wrote down a few I noticed that didn't behave that way...
EDIT: It was the other way around, Seleucid Royal Estates says Farming only but actually applies to Livestock as well.
There are effects that only do agriculture, only do livestock, then some do both. Its because CA split the effect in the EE edition and so various forms are used.
