Greetings dear citizens and other artists!

Today, It is a moment of truth when we will see how won POTY 2016! In the end results we got 72 voters and I 'm very glad that everyone who voted did it right. No any disqualified votes! I want to thanks everyone who took part of POTY and voters who made decision about winners.

POTY 2016 RESULTS

To 3rd position and got 17 votes goes for San Felipe (aka The Triumph of Rome) and early romans in city streets! Congratulation! To 2nd position and got 30 votes.... is GameThumb and his viking sailors in beautiful sunset! Congratulation! Finally... on 1st position and The winner of POTY 2016 and he got 34 votes.... goes for Noif de Bodemloze and his shocking beautiful the great war battle, where british soldiers, tanks and biplanes making their assault to enemy position, while enemies are firing them on artillery! So Noif de Bodemloze is the winner of POTY 2016 and he still managed to defend his title. But..... This is not over yet! I told in opening ceremony that I have a surprise for you all. I have called Finlander (the former POTW content director) to be our honor guest and jury. His mission was pick one POTW picture, that was in POTW 433 - 465 and this POTW picture didn't won at all, but this picture is still beautiful and open many feelings. After long thinking and all POTW pictures looking, Finlander made his choice. We want congratulate also.... Spear Dog, who was our Jury's pick. Finlander wroted his decision: "Graphically a very raw and emotional picture, the particular concern that comes to mind are the figures in the nearby forest who are impossible to discern between friends or foes. What must the foreground character be thinking? Has he survived chaos, fleeing the field of battle, or made a last stand, delivered of hope having seen fallen comrades beside him.". Congratulation Spear Dog, who got +10reps. (proposal: we could institutionalize in some form (monthly?) a selected comment/review on voluntary basis about one pic freely chosen from our competitions .. it would be a fantastic situation, something like a bridge between the Graphic Workshop and the Writers' Study.)

I agree with your comments on the winning pictures. Thanks for your proposal, Diocle. I will discuss your idea with the Artists' Studio staff. I like the idea of co-operation between the Artists' Studio and the Writers' Study; of course, I don't want to to 'step on the toes' of the Artists' Studio.

Congratulations Noif on your prestigious win! POTY should have it's own badge, in my opinion screen shots are an important component of Total War games - especially within a modding/mod user community. Well done, I suspected it was the winning shot the moment I saw it.

Congratulations also to San Felipe at 3rd and to Green Thumb for his 2nd - you came so close bro!
