Default how can a fleet supply a land army?

i just wanted to know what exactly i have to do to supply my army via my fleet
my fleet got two supply ships, how close does it have to be to actually supply the army?
does it have to be in a harbor or can it just be lurking around at the shore?
also, do i need to have certain buildings to make it all work?

    thank you^^

Unless something has changed from the last version, you only need one supply ship. Multiple supply ships don't provide any extra benefit.

As for how to do it, just keep your fleet near your army at the shore. No need for any buildings or harbors or anything else, it's as simple as that! Not sure exactly how close you have to be, but it's a pretty generous distance, I've found.

Land armies can be supplied trough a baggage train. From my knowledge, it can be researched in the first set of Management then built on supply pit ( i think) from the yellow building chain

I think if the army is within the reinforcement range of the navy with a supply ship it should work, though it may have a larger range than that.

Just keep the fleet and your army close and near the coastline. If your fleet consumes all it's supplies I think you need to go back to a harbor and resupply.
