    Hello,

    In my current Romani campaign on 2.2g my family members never lose the eligible for quaestor trait, even if they are holding political office (including being quaestors). It's not game-breaking, obviously. It's just a bit annoying for when the time comes to send people back to Rome to be elected.

    Yeah it's an older issue that comes from the change stripping out anti-traits due to the way the engine handles them in a buggy way. Some changes to the traits need to be done to strip out eligible for quaestor once you've been elected, which was previously handled automatically by an anti-trait. You can manually remove it with the console or they will get to it eventually. It looks like they just put anti-traits back into 2.2h for now. It's a huge project to get it all converted over and tested and working.

    We haven't done anything on it between 2.2g and 2.2h, so yes it's still there. The AntiTrait problem is massive, we're talking thousands of lines of code that need rethinking, so it's going to take a while.

    Understood. I appreciate all the hard work and know the anti-trait problem is a particularly thorny one. All of the back and forth recently on the Cursus Honorum got me to try rome again with 2.2H after a long break. I really like it for many of the reasons others have mentioned regarding role playing/immersion etc. I'll continue using the remove_trait workaround Myarta mentioned.

    Sorry to necro, but the next question is: What is the name of the trait "eligible for quaestor"? I tried finding it in the traits .txt, but am unsure which it is. Then one just does "remove_traits_this_[insert trait]", or do we have to specify a trait level? Thanks!
