no idea Longbow i really hard to string for untrained peasant archery needs nearly 10 years to master that's why in England they were the best Longbow man with wales were the longbow was invented before England

Why is this?

I think CA did that to reduce their power as a unit. But it does indeed look very unrealistic to see them drawing for a long time. Maybe it's possible to shorten this part of the animation and make the rest of the reloading longer.
