    Icon5 [PFM Help] Buildings value editings

    Hi,

    Im trying to find the correct table to adjust the barbarians city center chain values to suites my personal taste. So i found DB/Building_levels_tables/barbarian_buldings_levels but im not even sure its the correct table... I did some PFM stuff for Attila but it was mostly units and nav mesh i never did any buildings related stuff and im kinda lost in the DEI tables !

    I think the table you want is building_effects_junction. There is some stuff in building_levels though. Depends what you want to change.

    Yesss thank you both !

    Edit: I must have done something wrong because its not showing in game.. I read the tutorial and went in the building_effects_junction to modify rom_BARBARIAN_commons_public_2 building by adding more happiness and gdp per turn but its not working in game its still the hold value do i have to modify something else ?!

    Did you make sure your submod is named higher alphabetically than DeI? Otherwise DeI's entries will override it.

    I did the modification in the DEI pack.

    Edit: I did a submod and it worked

    And you're not using the Steam version of DeI, right? Steam will notice that it's not the same file and replace it with the one on the workshop when you launch the game.

    If that's not the issue, then hmmm... it might be the difference between some of the pre-patch 15 buildings and the new ones. I think DeI mostly uses the pre-patch 15 entries. Instead of replacing the old entries, CA made entirely new ones with the patch 15 building system (for save compatibility reasons), so there are duplicates of most building entries in there, just named a bit differently.

    No i use the TW version i manage to make it work for one building doing a submod instead of modifying the main DEI pack ill try the other buildings later on and ask for more help if its not working ahah thanks Augustusng !
