Appea Gaedotos

The "genuine" Appea Gaedotos (in the roster of unplayable factions, Insubres etc,) - with new and very sweet card image - has tight phalanx formation and the button for it, but doesn't seem to hold form in fight, even if clicket to attack only once - unlike e.g. Scordisci medium+ spearmen. The AOR unit with old card image has loose spearmen formation, no phalanx button.

It's a cool unit (http://europabarbarorum.wikia.com/wi...lpine_Phalanx) ) that could deserve some love. <3

For long time I've been dreaming of having an Cisalpine/Alpine "Swiss Guard" fully playable faction, Insubres comes first to mind for this period (with lots of special cheap Transalpine Gaesatae on their merc roster! ;P) ... or perhaps Helveti or whatever... Perhaps that is too much to ask, one can always hope, but if not, perhaps genuine Appea Gaedotos could be added to Scordisci roster.


PS: new CAI is awesome, playing Scordisci N/N with latest patch, Celtic Confederation holds now area from Thrace to Atlantic, allied with Galateans who control Anatolia. Destroyed and subdued Rome, I've been friends with and saving Greek factions for dessert, and finally I started war with couple of remaining Hellenic factions, in few turns all Hellenic factions joined the war against Celts, in epic clash of cultures! All but now Very Mighty Seleucids, who finally decided they hate Ptolemies more than Galateans.

PPS: for immersion and roleplaying, it would be cool if a Confederation had a special roster that could "inherit" at least some units of the joining factions. Any ideas?

@ PPS that would be cool indeed On the hand we already have AOR units that fulfill this.

If you confederate a faction that has an army in the field, you will get that Army along with all of its units. I confederated Athens as Sparta and I ganed a whole stack of Athenian Pikes, Hoplites and cav. Other than that, AOR is the only was the represent this.
