Kind of a tiny update. I've finished a lot of assets and I'm optimistic about tier 2 being finished in around mid-to-late March. First unit of tier 2 :
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
The high era upgrade of the Daylami mercenaries, this unit is a group of Arabic auxiliaries and mercenaries that form part of the much sturdier tier 2 infantry line.
love the style color variety is present shields are not all the same ones it fells unique
sums up the mobility and fast hit and run tactics of the Muslim world in this timeframe
Awesome man!
Btw those overcoats should have more diverse designs...
Anyway u got the picture...
Well the main problem is that I have essentially no info on equipment or visuals on Mesopotamian Arabs and Kurds during the 14th century and beyond. I'm doing the best I can with what I have and it's really hard to keep it historical. I'm not going to make up stuff just for visual appeal.
What about the Mughals!?
Chagatai...
So, I'm only lacking the horse barding to make the heavy cavalry, and as such, I'll probably finish the second tier sometime before next week. I'll be updating the front page as things are finished.

Better and better! I like the persian / indian / samarkand touch
I studied a bit and guess you will represent Kwarezmians succesors of ilkhanate in iran and the turkoman kara and ak qoyonlu while the "ilkhanate" will evolvw into the Timurids... so badically guess Kwarezmians will represent the ild iran and mesopotamia and it s ethnic groups while the Timurids the Samarqand region and the developements of Timur!?
So Kwarazm old Mesopotamia, Persia based Ilkanate succesors and the Turkomans, Ilkhanate proper Transoxiana Timurids of Samarkand in high and late... I get it now... so badically Kwarazm will be a, let s say countercandidate for the Ilkanate... the self ruled succesor states. Ghurids will represent the Turks of Punjab... ok it s clear.
I don't know if there's clear intent for the Ilkhanids to follow the Timurid military model (I do think so from talking to Dontfearme), but yes, my general idea is to stick with the Ilkhanid successors and Turkoman dynasties of Northern Mesopotamia and Iran for the 14th and 15th centuries in terms of military style. There's not an abundance of information, so I do try to keep it as plausible as possible.
I know next to nothing about these guys, and aside from some desaturation needed at certain units, these look amazing. Might have to give these guys a whirl.
