Really love how you keep updating all the factions to make each roster as unique as possible. The Gorchus also made me notice the incredibly beautiful and intricate quiver designs of many of the archers for the first time. It are minute details like these that really make this mod so outstanding.

One question I do have is that I remember Fars having a pretty unique pirate unit in tier 3 that seems to have been removed. Why is this?

It wasn't really based on anything moreso than just the general piracy in that region. The unit might come back later as a naval unit, but I felt the vassal factions needed a bit of bolstering unit-wise, which is why I moved the Piyadegan from the Khorasan region to the Fars roster to give them a reliable melee unit in the early game, which allowed me to include a more unique unit to the Khorasan region. I'm still looking to add more units to both the Hazaraspids and Salghurids, but that will likely be done at a further date. My initial understanding was that the vassal factions were not playable and only required a few unique units to go along with a 'core' roster for the regional emergents, but they might end up being playable and them just being strictly inferior to the mother faction kind of does not suffice.

I made some studies and I think the emergent Bavandids of Tabaristan and Dailam can be easily replaced by the Eldiguzids of Arran who can then evolve into Shirvan given the Azeri-Kurdish lineage of Safavids and the continuous struggles between the Aq Koyunlu, Shirvan, Timurids and Savafid Persia. Let's face it... Georgia was an episodic and secondary chapter in the history of Shirvan. It really isn't it's place there and neither is the place of Arran.

Eldiguzids are already on the map (Atabegate of Azerbaijan/Adarbadagan). Shirvan is already on the map.

Yeah but was wondering if they will have the same diversity like you added for Fars and Lurestan and not just a bunch of Georgian troops...

I intend to revisit Fars and Lurestan eventually to add more units so they're more competitive, but Azerbaijan will get a full roster, and will probably end up looking better than Khwarazm because they will get new equipment for them on top of what has been done so far.

Was wondering if it will be represented through the Zangid or Kwarazmian branch via the Eldiguzids of Arran and Azerbaijan or if it will be a separate, new faction.

It will be the Ardabadagan faction, which is the Eldiguzid faction.

With the last remaining units being now added to the front page, the roster is officially done and will be available as soon as the next patch is released.

    Thank you so much zsimmortal.
"Therefore I am not in favour of raising any dogmatic banner. On the contrary, we must try to help the dogmatists to clarify their propositions for themselves. Thus, communism, in particular, is a dogmatic abstraction; in which connection, however, I am not thinking of some imaginary and possible communism, but actually existing communism as taught by Cabet, Dézamy, Weitling, etc. This communism is itself only a special expression of the humanistic principle, an expression which is still infected by its antithesis – the private system. Hence the abolition of private property and communism are by no means identical, and it is not accidental but inevitable that communism has seen other socialist doctrines – such as those of Fourier, Proudhon, etc. – arising to confront it because it is itself only a special, one-sided realisation of the socialist principle."

These rosters you have made are definitely a few of the best this mod has to offer. Lots and lots of units; well researched, well rounded, very detailed, unique, atmospheric and cool looking. Dont know, what to add... Perfect!
