Recommend a good mod for me please!

Hello, im untalling the patch now and the unpacker. I would like to add a mod. What are the best ones out there and maybe you could provide a link for me please?

I just tried Lusted's 1.21 mod last night and I'm now currently playing the funnest campaign i can remember, probably since MTW. Diplomacy is excellent in it and the AI factions really expand well and wars are no longer neverending.

MY RECOMMENDATION, if you do play lusted's mod, play on HARD campaign difficulty, very hard is ridiculous just like in vanilla.

BTW thanks for the great mod Lusted, its finally made this game click for me. It has me strategizing before I go to sleep again.

Actually, I'm playing on VH/VH and I havn't exoerienced any problems yet. I'm only 50 turns in though...

I'm playing LTC with Dearmad's titles mod and the characters age one year per turn mod and it's been the best experience I've had with M2TW thus far.

Lusted's LTC mod is great, as is Darth's Darth Mod Lite. I love the fact that you can now have as many mods as you wish using the mod switch. So much better than RTW for playing great mods. I foresee lots of great mods in the future, as well as great things from the two above named mods. Lusted and Darth rock!

Hi,

I am interested to try Lusted's mod - now after the first patch is out I give M2 a second try. But it is Filefront - and that place never allows me to download anything, pushing me into a loop when hitting the downloads button that I have an invalid session number. Is it uploaded anywhere else, or is there any other remedy?

This is an excellent mod that allows for all factions play,and it has gone through several generations already since the game's release. I highly reccomend it, it is available from totalwar.org - just follow the link!

I played lusted's mod for a while, but then got bored of it cause the AI doesnt handle the increased cost and build times very well, so they dont get good troops as fast as the player. I now play with Candelarius lite mod (fixes bugs and other issues) plus Kobal's VnV mod and the Ultimate AI mod. So far I havent seen anything I disliked with this combo. AI is just as developed as me... in fact, my empire is equal in size to about 8 other empires, only the moors and scots have been eliminated so far. ((80 turns into it).
