Which difficulty settings is most challenging for rs3.1?

IMHO it's not the settings you choose in game that you will gain the most from, but the way you choose to limit yourself to some of the more historical realities.

In simple terms, however, there's H/VH. Me - I choose H/M.

But then I limit myself on cavalry and, particularly cavalry types, let alone things like slingers, archers and 'elite' troops.

It all rather depends what you're after.
