When is the campaign coming out??
Its been well over 2 years now and there has not been a recent mention of the release of a campaign for this magnificent mod. I know many people are working hard for this to be released but I just can't help but wonder if this is just going to be another custom battle mod. Can anyone clarify if its been dropped or not.

It has not been dropped. The team is working on different aspects of the campaign and there are lots of areas to cover, from recruitment and family trees to scripting and so on.

Re: When is the campaign coming out??
There is another mod called "1078 AD" which is a very rough draft of how the campaign will look. It was created for Age of Charlemagne DLC so you have to purchase it then download the mod. The mod creator uses the unit models from MKTW 1212 AD. I'm playing it everyday and wishing this mod will be finished soon since the units and everything else will match up with every faction.

Re: When is the campaign coming out??
When its done, I'd presume.
It is important to understand that this isn't merely a port of medieval units on a vanilla campaign map.
Developers have to complete a tremendous amount of work, from creating tech and building stats, writing events and adjusting the map to realities of 13th century to balancing the bad boy, which is a very difficult task in itself.
And they are not getting paid for it, and they have to do that on their own time.
Also they post updates on progress almost every week, I don't see how this is being "dropped" just by glancing at these threads.
All those things have been repeated over and over again, yet some people seem not to grasp how difficult and time-consuming modding is. I get it, I also can't wait for this mod, but I find that such attitude may sound kinda disrespectful to all the hard work and sacrifice that developers are making.
Also if you want to hype yourself, check out Medieval Conquests mod for Mount & Blade: Warband. It has sounds from Medieval II, gives an intense nostalgic feel.
