It was terrible. I was highly excited about this but this show was a complete waste.

I finally got around to starting this...I regret it but I will push through because I am on a historical binge.

On the bright side (I guess) it has been renewed for a second season and will be adding Mark Hamill to the cast.

I watched the first episode, complete romanticised garbage.

I remember when history channel did history.

Yeah i was highly disappointed by this. The show's trailer displayed a lot of potential and promise. What a bloody waste.

Well...Drinking makes it better.

I'm on episode 4 or 5...Idk.

But it is a shame that the excellent production values were let down by the story, dialogue, and acting.

God I hope there is a good battle soon.

Just finished it.

It got better. I'm not sure if it was cause i lowered my expectations or it actually got better but...It was decent by the end.

Hopefully next season they do better.

It's more like a guilty pleasure, where in the end you just end up watching it all to see how the season ends.

Edit: My concern is that this was renewed in AUGUST. And it is coming out in March?

That's a seven month turn around. That's awfully fast for a show like this so unless they had already been working on it and everything before it was officially announced then I am concerned that they rushed this.

I had such high hopes from this show but it was an utter disappointment. Ignoring the historical part, show lacked backbone. And that annoying love story....
Mark Hamill though...a ray of hope perhaps?
