When you go to the shop, ask the man to do a dance for each card. Whichever dance is best, buy that one.
yeah thanks, now are you just taking the mick or are you saying that they're the same and it doesn't matter which one i go for?
One 7950gt would beat two 7600GS's

I'm sure you can find all you need to know here*: http://tomshardware.co.uk/
*dances not included
The 7900 series is a significant improvement over the 7600. With the recent price drops across the board due to the 1st gen dx10 cards coming out (i.e. 8800) now is a fantastic time to go out and get one of the last gen dx9 cards.

i got a 7950Gt ......get one ,reasonable price with a good performance...what do you need more?
You ask for steak, I bring you fish. You say that you think steak is better than fish. I say that fish is much more popular than steak so obviously it's better. You say that no matter how good the fish is it can't be better at being steak than the actual steak we used to serve. I say that's just your perception and you're entitled to it but you should accept that fish is the future and that's good. You begin to say something but I stab you in the eye with a fork and run into the kitchen.
make sure you get one that is clocked at 600mhz core. Unless oyu want to oc it yourself. I got a 25% speed increase using an eVGA 600Mhz clocked versus an XFS one clocked at 570 (the silent ones with passive coolers).
And DON'T get passively cooled one- it'll run at 95degrees+. not good. My eVGA runs at 45 degrees.
cheers guys
And off the the basement with you.

.... though, it would be plenty cheaper to buy it yourself... Alienware and Dell tend to be murderous when it comes to buying gaming rigs... the prices are insane...:hmmm:
ya i know my current pc i make it myselft but is a xmans gift from my father and he live on another country i thoug of puting it myselft but he wont give me the money so just tried to make the best i can with 3,200 now if u know of another site to buy pcs cheapers but with the grapic and processor i would be happy to try ^^
Dell usually make nice gaming rigs for much less than Alienware's. Alienware is wayyyy overpriced.
When in doubt, always go for 1 high end instead of 2 med range. Save the trouble.
