    Default Aggghhhhh So Confusing!!

    I have spent all day trying to get the 1.1 Patch, and it is really starting to annoy me . I have RTW, and plaied the mod RTR, and many others, but it seems to me that all mods for M2TW have zip files or whatever and i cannot figure how to work them . M2TW Vanilla has way to many bugs for me to really enjoy and i juss want sum1 to please explain how to use zip files so i can mod as much as i can

    read the readme, it totally helps, at least when I was confused I read it like 3 times and then I knew what to do!

    when you extract the patch into your MTW II directory, there will be a new file

    SETUP.EXE

    run it, then install the patch

    Get winzip.
    Use winzip to open the mtw2 update file you have downloaded.
    unzip the contents to wherever..
    Then double click the file you just unzipped wherever...
    tell it to install the patch files wherever..
    then double click the setup.exe that was installed in the last action.
    then make sure during the patch install that it points the patch towards MTW2's folder (mine was wanting to install in a totaly wrong directory) should be something along the lines of...

    c:/programfiles/sega/MTW2

    I agree that its confusing, first time ive seen a company use that setup to get you to 1 file....
