Campaign : unit cap per armies in single player
Hi,
i've looked around for a while but i could not find a way to do this properly using pfm:
- I want to limit the number of certain units which can be recruited in a single army during a classic campaign game ==> for example, i want elves to have only one dragon in each armies (right now, they tend to have around 5 of them, it's not only annoying as hell to fight them, it's also a pain to see them spamming the same units and not having somewhat balanced army composition)
- Because AI tends to be dumb when it comes to creating a correct force, i don't want to rely on the files that alter their preferences in recruitement if possible.
I did find how to set a campaign cap, and i know about the various possibilities like increasing unit cost or giving a specific requirement. There's even some tutorials about variable unit caps. But what i want is the same than in multiplayer. Force AI and player during campaign to use more balanced armies, by preventing a single force to recruit more than one or a few of specific units.
I remember that in rome II mods, DeI i think, there was legionnaries first cohorts or eagle cohorts which you could only recruit once per armies (as opposed to once per campaign which is too much to handle for AI ==> they recruit the max number in a single army most of the time). In warhammer i don't know how to do this through editing the db files. I currently have several AI armies fielding massive numer of flagellants and forest dragons. It makes for over 50% of their units, it looks bad and isn't funny to fight against.
If anyone can help or point me to the information, thank you.
