Med 2 works. Kingdoms asks for disk...

So i own a digital version(non steam) of med 2 gold with expansions(legal purchase). Have had it for years, recently reinstalled it and now it asks for the disk(which ive never owned) so it can launch kingdoms. Med 2 works just fine. Now it only started doing this after i patched to the latest version 1.5(many mods require this). Did i screw up something simple? Any help/ideas appreciated.

Doesn't the gold version already include the 1.05 patch? If not then you will need a patch specifically for your digital version as the regular disk version will always ask for inserting the disk.

My suggestion: try if you can upgrade to the steam version by following my tutorial. The alternative would be to re-install (mods can be simply moved into a temp folder and then back again) and looking for the correct patch.
