    Hey there, awesome how far this has progressed!
    Just my thoughts on the Libyan Euzonoi, I'd say there's a need for a pre-Thureos version,
    like the Athenian Euzonoi.

    I'm actually thinking of changing my forum name to Magas of Cyrene, Commodore doesn't seem to fit anymore Also, that's the best use of that emoticon ever

    Hey! It's progressing nicely as of late, I've managed to implement Cyrene as playable faction with its own faction traits:



    The map is just a placeholder - I'm afraid I can't make it look like the one in DeI. Faction symbol courtesy of ep1c_fail. Next up I want to implement custom political factions and characters.

    Now I'm going back to making new units About the Libyan Euzonoi - I've been thinking about it too, talked about it with KAM 2150 - the idea was to have them use smaller, simpler thureos (i.e. not the big one that the Greeks used later). What do you think?

    What are you plans on starting relations with Ptolemaioi? Going with the default DeI settings (starting as a client) or do you have other plans?

    Thank you! Cyrene should start as a client state, but three years after DeI's start (275 BC) they declared war on the Ptolemies, so I think I'll be making them independent from the start (like Bactria, which wasn't free at DeI's start either), but with huge diplomatic penalties with the Ptolemaic Kingdom. Besides, I don't think any DeI playable factions are clients, would be weird to have one...or maybe interesting?

    On the progress front - I've cleaned up the mod file thoroughly, which I had to do before continuing (to remove all uncessary clutter). Not glamorous work, but needed and it should speed up further modding I will concentrate on units for now; here are the Cyrenean Hoplites:

    As always, I'd appreciate your feedback They definitely need new shields, I'll try to make them, but I'm not talented when it comes to graphics editing, so we'll see if anything good will come out of it

    You're right, I think they'll look better with hoplons! I will take a look at it in an hour. Also, I didn't give them tunics, but then again maybe it's a good idea under Cyrene's weather What do you think?

    Way better! and I like the combination between the lion cloack and regular ones.
