With the King's order to protect Princess Elia Martell and her children for the meantime of the war, the Dornish girl had willingly accepted Aerys' demands, while keeping so far to her custodity.
Royal guards were placed in front of the door, while the Princess barely left the room. Not that she intended to do so, given that her chambers were now probably the safest place, a maiden could wish for in Westeros.
Yet, she also realized that it was potentially her prison - whether it would protect her from the King himself or not was hard to tell.

Apart from few persons of Aerys' household, among them the Grand Maester, who would have to inspect her health, given her frail status, noone had visited her so far. Whether it was because they were not allowed to do so or because the world was currently busy with the war outside of the realm was hard to tell.

Biography: Being born as the fourth child of the Martell family, Elia's childhood was not an easy one, given that she was born a month premature and always had a delicate health, thus not allowing her to travel all too much around Westeros during her youth due to her condition. Nontheless she grew eventually into a slender, beautiful woman though she was considered frail by many among the court.
During few journeys, Elia was considered to be wed off to suitors of several Houses, among them House Hightower and House Lannister, but no arrangements were made as the suitors were considered inappropriate for her.
Eventually Elia would marry at some point Prince Rhaegar Targaryen, where she moved after the marriage to Dragonstone with her husband.
Elia blessed House Targaryen with two potential heirs to the Iron Throne, one of them being being recently born. The girl was named Rhaenys, while her younger brother is called by the name of Aegon.

After the tourney at Harrenhal and with the outbreak of the war in the following year, Elia was left by her husband at Dragonstone.
