How do I get my Horse Archers to do this special ability...?

Everytime i press the button so that they should ride in circles and fire arrows on the enemy it seems nothing happens... Does the unit has to be in a special formation or something ???

Select the unit, then hit the button for cirlce, then single or double click attack. Works for me.

press the special ability and then click to attack your enemy.
If you do it the other way around it doesn't work although it bugs a bit sometimes


+ Did they decrease it's effectivnes if you compare it with rome?

i'm having worse results with it(still better then in normal conditions but in rome i sometimes had parthian battles with only a few losses due to enemy fire)

Thanks... I always told them to attack first and the push the ability button...

Can't answer your question about effectiveness... I haven't tried it in action yet as I could't figure out how it worked :-)

Its decreased...Now they cannot hit anything while in cc.
