A raven would arrive at Riverrun, sealed with the eagle of House Mallister.
To Lord Hoster Tully,
our men stand ready for the course of the rebellion and will ride loyal into battle.
Before we can follow your call, I will have to investigate the absence of Lord Rushmoor and his host, given that he is the only vassal lord, who has not followed our call.
I fear that the henchmen of the Targaryen might have made their move already and have either intercepted his movements or, worse, convinced him to fight for their side.
In light of my brother's death by the hands of the Mad King, I can't risk the safety of the Riverlands for ignoring the absence of one important vassal of mine.
When these lines reach Riverrun, I can hope that you can reason my decision, mylord and, if necessary reinforce our position, should no further message of mine arrive at your camp.
Should you order me otherwise, I shall follow your command obediently, though I fear that I will already be at Rushmoor, when your answer arrives, mylord.
May we be victorious and avenge those, who were murdered by the Targaryens.
Above the Rest
Lord Jason Mallister, Lord of Seagard
[SIGNED AND SEALED]
Stannis Baratheon was present, ready to be of service to Lord Hoster, and, indirectly, his brother.

An outrider arrived at the camp of Lord Tully, dressed in the colours of House Mallister. The messenger delivered a message, being written and sealed by Lord Jason himself, stating that he will arrive at the camp within the next weeks (10.8 hours).
Lord Mallister further states, that the royalists have neither taken a foothold within the Riverlands already and that Lord Rushmoor was convinced to join with his militia forces the forces of his overlord.
Over 4,000 men will faithfully arrive at Riverrun, awaiting further orders of House Tully to reinforce the ranks of the rebellion.

Lord Hoster called his bannermen to a war council.
Stannis attended.

Lord Tully glanced around the assembled lord. "My friends, I will take the bulk of our main forces and march south to clear a route for the forces of Arryn and the North. My goal will be to attempt to crush the main forces of the Crownlands - presumably under the Hand of the King or Prince Rhaegar - and unite with Lord Baratheon.
Lord Whent, you will take your host and secure the crossings for the Northerners and for the Valesmen. I want you to force the Loyalist strongholds in the Riverlands to surrender. Then, combined with Lord Mallister, you will march south to join the campaign against the Royalists. I will trust you to conduct your own campaign, although I will attempt to keep closely in touch with you. Now gentlemen, to war!"

During the next weeks, Lord Mallister's army arrived to meet with those, who are still present at Lord Hoster's camp.
As he promised, his full militia force came with him.
OOC: Given that the war council was attended, when Mallister technically marched with his forces, I assume that he's not aware of what was discussed.
Lord Mallister is met with Lord Duncan Whent, the young commander of the Riverland's second host.
My Lord Mallister, Lord Tully has named me in command of 30,000 men who are to cooperate with you in securing the northern approach of the Riverlands for our Northern and Vale allies.

Lord Jason lowered his head briefly.
"It is good to hear, that Lord Hoster has faith in you, given the ammount of men", he said diplomatic, "Given our position, it might be in our main interest it might be wise to move to Lord Harroway's Town, as the ferries of the Lordship will provide Lord Arryn and Lord Stark a safe passage over the river, if we can keep controll over them. Had the banners of Lord Darry arrived at Riverrun, mylord?"
I would agree with you, Lord Mallister. Let us see if we can at least convince the Lord Roote to change sides with a show of force! Otherwise, I will gladly storm the castle and drag the traitor out myself!
As for the word of banners of Lord Darry, Lord Whent was uncertain.
I have been told nothing yet, Lord Mallister.

"Indeed, mylord", Mallister said while musing, "Given the ammount of unarmed warriors I saw at our campsite, I presume it might be best to send forward my army first, as your host might get some attention if we're not careful. Should Darry have alligned himself with the Crown and only wait for an opportunity to surprise our forces, my scouts will not only be fast enough to warn your troops of potential danger, but it will also minimize the loss of manpower, should my force get lured into a trap by the Royalists. With a postponed movement, our chances are also better to surprise the enemy in his rear, as he might not suspect a larger host approaching, when hunting an assumingly easy prey."
He mused while thinking the plan through.
"And should nothing happen on our way, it doesn't matter. Once the armies are at Harroway's Town we can ensure that siege weapons are build immidiately. When your forces arrive and Lord Roote was not impressed at all by our presence, we gain an advantage in terms of time. The sooner Harroway's Town bows to Lord Hoster's authority, the better it is for our course. While it also saves probably more lives for us and our allies."
OOC: I already have send the Mallister force a day ago to Lord Harroway's Town, so we already can prepare siege weapons, when your troops arrive. Even if the city is fortified, we would save some immense time to secure the ferries, should the Battle at King's Landing end in a bad way and in case they need reinforcements or a fast retreat route.
Timewise it barely matters now, as no moderation happened though far - however, it's benefitial, as it means that we already have a siege ongoing since the day Mallister arrived, thus making it easier to gain controll over the castle and we would also have the scout rolls, I made earlier on, already. (See below)
That way it also benefits your army, as it moves 125% faster, if it's only consisted out of Light Infantry, Light Cavalry and Archers - provided Whent doesn't lead Heavy Infantry and Cavalry as well, only know what Skylord gave you.
Another info, Mallister btw made on his way via scout rolls: Neither Harroway's Town nor Darry inhabits any troops except the garrison.
A raven arrives from Lord Tywin Lannister by means of desperate ravens sent to the closest keeps within the Riverlands (you can assess a proper time penalty for this raven actually finding his army)
"Lord Hoster,
Word has reached my ears of the battle outside King's Landing. I move now immediately to engage the force that drove you off. I advise you to rally your men as quickly as possible and march south again, surely this army cannot stand up to more sustained attacks. My force approaches from the south.
Signed,
Lord Tywin Lannister
Lord of Casterly Rock
Warden of the West
Shield of Lannisport"
OOC: Since Whent's army can't actually accommodate the Frey militia, they should now be attached to Lord Hoster's.

Following the battle at Kingslanding, Doran dispatches a small party under the rainbow banner of peace to Hoster's host. They wish to express the condolences of the prince and deliver a letter, which the riders claim is to be distributed to the leading rebels.
