Gates of the Moon

[Dirty Chai]

The Gates of the Moon sits at the base of the Giant's Lance, guarding the steep slopes that lead up to the Eyrie. It was built before the Eyrie, and was the first home of the Arryns in mythical times. Today, it is used as both a great defense for the Eyrie and a home for the Eyrie's household during winter years when the peak of the Giant's Lance is buried in snow. The keeper of the Gates of the Moon is typically an heir or trusted relative of the Lord of the Eyrie.
