Massive Lag during Huge fights

Hey Guys

I often play Medival 2 total war [Third Age Mod.]

It often happens, that the game laggs / my fps drops during huge fights with 5k or more units.

My CPU almost doesn't reach 25% and my internal memory is almost at 20%

I Play TATW Vanilla - no mod.

Windows 10 - 64 Bit
Geforce 970 oc strix [asus]
16 GB Ram
Intel i7-4790K CPU @ 4.00 GHz
