Default Re: Yronwood, seat of House Yronwood

Word of the return of the army of Yronwood spread down the Boneway to the castle after several scouts of Wyl noticed the approaching host. As the army marched southwards, the forces of the vassals of Yronwood break off to return to their homes, with the Wyls being the first to depart as soon as their seat of Wyl was visible on the horizon, followed by the men of Vulture's Roost and Kingsgrave who begin to travel the respective mountain pathway that leads from the Boneway to the seat of either Drinkwater or Manwoody.

As the army crosses the river to the north of Yronwood, Ravella and her two commanders watch.
"Have the northmen left?" "Yes, my lady. I believe they returned to their army after we crossed the Wyl." Yros finishes eating an apple and throws the core off into a shrub. "So, what now? Will our forces remain standing or is the entire host being disbanded?" "The entire host is to be disbanded as the war is over. The militia and associated infrastructure will be dismantled for the time being as there is no more purpose for them. Instead we shall now focus on strengthening the local industries of Yronwood, primarily mining, the breeding of the Red Mountains variant of the Sand Steed, and perhaps agriculture in the Green Hills." Ravella looks off in the distance where the Green Hills are to the west of Yronwood, which can faintly be seen on the horizon to the east. "Perhaps a new keep and village will be constructed there to serve as a center for the new agricultural industry and as another market town in the province, and another keep will be built at this crossing to serve as a shield for Yronwood." "Say these new keeps are built, who will rule them?" Ravella smiles. "I will probably grant them to loyal retainers like Ser Manwoody here or to you, one of our other siblings, or one of my children. But that will be a discussion for when the time comes to build them, for now I wish to focus on our ancestral seat." "Of course, my lady." "Aye, sister. Although, perhaps one should be built near the coast to be a dock for our fleet?" "If we ever require a fleet, brother. But that is a good suggestion." Yoren pulls another apple out of his satchel while Yros drinks from a wineskin. "You ever decide on the new title for yourself, sister?" Ravella shakes her head. "No, and perhaps I won't bother with it now as all we did was take the castle from what appeared to be a skeleton garrison, not a fully defended force. Otherwise, we probably would've lost thousands." "Eh, you still deserve it as we did make history if what our maester taught us is true." "Perhaps." The two Yronwoods and Manwoody move to rejoin the army and make their way back to Yronwood.
