I did see a Shahnama manuscript at the Metropolitan Museum of Art which depicted soldiers from the mid-15th Century in armour from that period. I do have images of it, would that help?.

Oh ty 4 visitor msg. I am not directly involved in research. I just wanted to help out zsimmortal. He is the man you should collaborate with if you want to help and unfortunatelly no, no steam profile... a little bit backwards with technology... keep trying to buy a decent decond hand laptop but can't save the money needed... working for like almost 4 months abroad and still bad with money... but lately fortune seems to smile to me as I might be getting a promotion hopefully. Working hard for the honour of playing this great mid what can I say... ih for June Steam Summer Sale too...

I'm finishing Khwarazm, then I will re-work the first tier of the Ghurids. Then I'll see what I can do with the limited information I have for T2 and T3.

It was there before, I just changed the appearance based on things I have read since then. But I will re-do the first tier completely at a later time.
